I think it's just April Fool's Day joke. Perhaps the merit system will be more useful for making more quality posts. But for what Politeness, fmerit, and so on. It just makes the others more confused and becomes more difficult to rank up. And to make this forum more visitors, surely the admin will try to make this forum more comfortable and not confusing for new visitors.

in my opinion you do not have to worry too much, with this new system (this can be true / joke) ...

because when I read the thread New new rank requirements, in this thread there is a statement

Bitcoin would not even exist without Satoshi's impressive imagination, so I've decided to take this into account on the forum. Imaginative people are those who have posted many images.

the point is I think this system applies unlike merit system where you have to create constructive post and make other people agree with your post, to get merit ... here I conclude that if you want to add point imagination you only need to add image to every post / thread you created (not this too easy). and of course my conclusion this only works if the system is actually applied ....
