Story background :
Faulty hashboard 1 on my Ebang Ebit Miner E9+.
Noisy fans at 6000 rpm, which i think is unnecessary.

Context :
Removed hashboard 1, moved board 2 to board 1 position. Created 1 empty hashboard space for better heat dissipation / air ventilation.
Replaced 2 noisy "Cool Master" fans (12V DC, 2.7 Amp), with lower RPM fans (12V DC, 1.6 Amp).

Cost :
2 x DC 1.6A fan : USD$15 each
Cable cutter : USD$5
Electrical Tape : $1
Time Taken : 30 mins (exclude shopping for parts)
Satisfaction : Priceless

Verdict :
It is great that I'm now able to run the silenced E9+ miner just next to my bed without affecting my sleep.
I had the miner and a Bitmain PSU inside a plastic container, now the noise level is less than 48Db (which is about the same noise level as having a server in my bedroom).
