Ill offer 1btc each .. more realistic =)

You got it, give me a day to remove 5 of 8 ASIC chips from each board and they are all yours Wink

Is this some type of bad joke? He offerent .15 less btc than what they cost... how is that equal to 5 asic chips? I wouldnt send money to someone who doesnt understand customer service honestly...

Settle down now.. Check the date in your quote.

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

Local p2pool node for about an hour.

Just set it up so I haven't verified the whole p2pool chain yet, not sure if that matters...

hmm, the numbers don't add up with your HW errors.  are those just not even submitted to the pool?

i would like to see it on an existing p2pool node, lenny's is fine

if the latency is too high there, you could try nogleg.net or zevus.nogleg.com and I'd give you any BTC back if it actually did take a fee, those are in US rather than Europe

Firmware on the Chilis enables engines that BFL would not. This produces a higher hashrate but more HW errors. I'll hit someone else's node tonight.

Does this mean that the miners will not last as long?

No HW errors just means a particular engine is less reliable in spitting accurate results.... but such errors should not degrade the actual physical chip.

Had a chance to put the two Sunzi's I bought into the retired sound rack that I plan on using....

I know that BE's aren't worth a hill o' beans these days but I figure any more hash power the better. What else would I do with em? eBay? LOL!

Getting close to 450gh's with this rig.... Too bad that WinBox gets pissed if it has to reset. WTH???

Very nice setup, time to move to Linux!

Yeah, working on it. I need to figure out two things...

#1. How to make BFGMiner start at bootup on its own.
#2. Install VNC or some other remote control software so I can get into it from another computer.

I already have the linux (Ubuntu) machine up and running. Just need to figure out those two things above and I'm all set.

And wouldn't you know it Windows installed new updates this morning (3AM) and the computer was hung in a reset loop. Stupid machine.

My sunzi arrived today, well half of it... waiting on the metal display piece still =P .. damn usps!

Got them all put together and working great at work...
Avg hashrate is 203GH pool side .. and seeing only bout 5.5% HW errors .. after couple hours!
Temps are between 55-60C as read by bfgminer .. and this is a reasonably warm room... cant wait to see what it does in my place which is ambient of 47F =P
These things rock!

Its hashing @ 225GH avg, consumes around 1280w @ wall - HW 7%
Each chili is doing between 35-39GH/s - temps in the 50-60C's

man, Id love to grab another sunzi but given the latest diff increase and a week of previous diff, made all the difference in the world between a fair pricepoint original 6.9btc and the now ripoff price of 6.6btc....
Id offer 4btc for a sunzi...

Come on now General, I know you didn't make 2.9 BTC in the last week. Now drop and give me 50.

In all seriousness, this is still a great deal. I wish I bought a pre-order Jupiter a few months ago and I wish I bought a few thousand bitcoins when they were worth a few pennies. You can't invest in the past, but you can still invest in the future.

I'm with GenTarkin on this one. I understand what you're saying, based on the last 90 days.. however, I don't expect the price to jump the same 10x factor again any time soon.

200GH is roughly 0.09 btc/day at today's diff. Assuming you get the whole month of December without any adjustments, that's still only 1.82 btc. Way too much hardware is dropping in the next 60 days to make 6 BTC a good price.. that's roughly $28/GH.. (Which is still WAY better than the $100/GH people are paying for USB sticks, I'll give you that)

Value of Bitcoin doesn't make a difference. If Bitcoin is worth $10,000 next month, you still paid 6.6 BTC for a Sunzi which would get you
.1107 BTC per 24 hours at today's difficulty
.0914 per 24 hours at 1.1 Billion
.0745 per 24 hours at 1.35 Billion

Now I'm not saying that those are the next 2 difficulties, I have no idea how many companies are going to hit their targets. That would put you at half payoff in a little over a month though.
