From what I am reading, the coffee shop that used that new machine for the first time ever in the world did over 10k in transactions (
BTC) the first day and
over one third of the 81 people who used the machine were completely new to Bit coins. If this trend continues, bit coin could possibly render the dollar useless and it just doesn't make sense to me that the government would allow this to happen because this new decentralized currency threatens the survival of the dollar, doesn't it?
I don't know too much about economics and Im still in college learning how to be a scholar, so could someone please enlighten me? This article was really informative, but now I have way more questions than I started with.
If you are smart and read up on bitcoins please join this thread.
