Hi All,

I'm new here but I have been interested in bitcoin since it was covered on the Feb 9, 2011 episode of Security Now with Steve Gibson of grc.com. Like many others, I kick myself daily that I did not risk several hundred dollars on this "experiment" back then when it was trading 1 to 1 with USD.

See you all around!

Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

Welcome to the forum! Yeah most people can kick themselves for not getting in earlier, but the important thing is, you are here now!

I remember my house mates watching zietgiest or something like that back in 2010 and there was something about Bitcoins
on there, I just mocked them over and over lol, was being a really cynical fuck about it.
Now here I am feasting on scraps of Bitcoin dust before it's to late.

derp, haha.

There's a post somewhere on here from the actual guy. He's sounds pretty humble about the whole thing...

I know that feeling. I remember hearing about bitcoin over a year ago, and never got involved in it until around July of this year. Smiley

Yep, kicked myself too for not getting in until 2012. I actually had a wallet and a few coins back in 2010, forgot about them, and the laptop they were on (wallet never backed up) is long gone. Doh!
