For those of you that don't agree with some of CoinMarketCap's antics, I made a list of alternative sites that work just as well if not better than CMC for getting altcoin information.

https://www.livecoinwatch.com/ - The most popular CMC alternative. Clean layout without scammy ICO advertisements. Site auto-updates and supports private portfolios (you will have to make an account)

https://coincodex.com/ - Supports private portfolios as well as an upcoming ICO calender. 3 advertisements on the homepage.

https://coinlib.io/ - Supports private portfolios. Has a concurrency conversion calculator under "tools". 0 ads on the homepage

https://coinkapp.com/ - Unique layout as it displays each coin with trending news/social media posts about that coin.  0 ads on the homepage

https://coincheckup.com/ - Layout displays a ton of information at once. Unique tool where you can rank coins by their github activity. 2 ads on the homepage

https://onchainfx.com/ - Compact layout displays a ton of information at once. Allows you to sort coins by their intended use/application. 0 ads on the homepage

https://cryptowat.ch/ - Very simple site that displays the charts of coins as well as the current prices on various exchanges. 0 ads on the homepage

https://www.moonstats.com/ - Supports private portfolios. Displays the top gainers and losers with "fun" animations. 2 ads on the homepage

https://www.worldcoinindex.com/ - Supports private portfolios, watchlists, dark mode, and live updates. Has an upcoming ICO calendar. 3 ads on the homepage

https://bitgur.com/ - Supports alerts. Has a unique heat map and a built in BTC fee calculator. 0 ads on the homepage

https://blockexplorer.com/market - Very simple site that displays the price and market cap of altcoins. 0 homepage ads

https://www.coingecko.com/en - Has an upcoming ICO calendar. 1 extremely annoying homepage ad

https://www.coinranker.net/# - Clean and simple layout. Supports watchlists. Has a dark mode.

Haven't used it entirely, specially the features inside the account system but I think it should be alright on your list.

I took a look at the site and its simple but gets the job done. No annoying advertisements either! Will definitely add it to the list.

Thank you for the list, I will definitely have a look on couple of alternatives. I have been using several sites from the list and for now https://coinlib.io/ is the best due to the compare coins and the best price explorer tools.

Delta supports a ton of obscure altcoins and uses data from exchanges that trade that said altcoin

coinmarketcap is still my favorite
coingecko is also an awesome site tho, it has some specific info on coins such as percentage from ATH or ICO

Consider adding https://coin.market/ in your list, it provides more meaningful trades data (not ticker data, like most of the services it the list), so you can calculate how much volume was in each time frame an you can also check how many trades were in a selected pair in a selected price range on all exchanges or on one exchange.
