It is a cryptocurrency and it is the same amount of trust that I have for all cryptos that I have for tether because no matter how good a coin is there is always the possibility of you losing your money so I am always wary of them. But tether is a good way to store your money if you do not want market fluctuations to affect your money

I personally do not like the fact that they themselves stamp coins and buy bitcoin for them ! It violates all the laws of Economics ! I don't trust them !

In my opinion Tether don't have as much dollars as the Tethers. I guess that they pupm the price of Bitcoin by printed their digital dollars.

So all this calls forth to have another fiat backed stablecoin which is fair and auditable to put an end to seemingly market manipulation tactics carried by the USDT & Bitfinex. Plus, their close connections with Bitfinex is no secret anymore.

and until now tether has become an altcoin that is often traded on many exchanges, so there are a lot of rumors and bad, but it can't really be sure that is true. and Tether's position is currently at number 8 on the marketcap

So far it does look like the coin is doing well, they have kept up their word that the value of the coin will not fluctuate and it has kept in tune with the price of usd. I just have a problem with the public audit that they promised to do which they have not kept their word on but besides that, every other aspect of the coin seems to be trustworthy

The Tether project today is supported by many people. I think that this project as a whole has a lot of checks. I would probably use this project, because now of all the stable coins, this one is less risky.

A majority of traders argue that Tether is  not actually  backed by actual dollars. The company has failed to provide any evidence of its holdings to the public.

I do not really trust tether. There are just too many rumors that the tethers are not really covered. That is why i stay away from tether.

No, I do not trust this art of crypto currencies. I just do not like any stable coin and cannot understand what it is for. Tether does not have any supply and dropped to 0,7 USD during the last night. Strange coin and I would put my fingers away from it.

it happens or not, it's not our problem, anyways the US government doesn't have any effect on us all here. how big money the US is destroying the cryptocurrency, because if that happens, the US will be dealing with a big country all over the world

Not at all. Tether is not reliable now and its future is not relialble as well so is it so necessary to be with it without any benefits? I consuder that no.

I would not invest a dollar in tether unless they prove that all tethers are covered.
If it is really proven that all tethers are covered i would use tether.

I find Tether pretty useful for storing the value during the drops. I'm looking for some alternatives but most of the stablecoins don't have much volume.
