Hi There
Just wondering if someone can help me
I was  using my pc to mine DGB and the process was started with a batch file.  I was in hospital for 2 months and it ran the whole time i was there but when i came out my pc had frozen and when it restarted i don't seem to be able to get the miner to start anymore.  The command prompt window opens but i get the error 'ccminer-x64' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.
And then it says press anh key to continues and it closes.
The code in the batch file is as follows
ccminer-x64 -a skein -o stratum+tcp://stratum.dgb.theblocksfactory.com:9002 -u username.worker -p password

pause

obviously i have the credentials changed when running the bat file to reflect the username, worker and password.   If anyone knows why this is happening i would be very grateful...thank you

John

If you're using Windows OS, possibility is that windows defender or firewall tagged the exe file as a virus when it do updates, try to redownload the miner and exempt this in your OS.

that's it, you might want to check why .exe file has been deleted

Defender is a default in windows, unless you take it off you still using it against your will Wink

Hi leonix007
Thanks for your help in this
Windows defender is turned off...when i search the program defender i get the message "the program is turned off" "if you would like to use it this program, click here to turn it on"

Any other suggestions as i don't ever recall there being an .exe file in the folder when it ran before.  There is a dll and another folder with some other files and from memory there is nothing missing.

regards
John
