The How to Play link doesn't show anything, so I still don't quite understand how to play.

There is a "How To Play" in the OP...
Doesn't really make sense though.

A different game, when it will be available for real BTC? Will there be some free coins to play with it? would be nice to have a faucet for the game

Game available for real BTC now
About free coins, it's difficult question at this moment, it's beta version, i think i will give out free coins in release version.
I will record video tomorrow with gameplay, so it will be easier to play.

A gambling puzzle game... that's a cool idea!

Is there some sort of pattern to figure out which symbol goes into each box, or do you just guess?
