Sentigraph is a decentralized platform that unites social networks. There are many online platforms and blogs that are devoted to social engagements.
Normally, users react to headlines and posts on this platforms by commenting, but there has been no effective tool for analyzing the general sentiments from these discussions.
Sentigraph intends to improve the outcomes of both present and anticipated events based on the analysis of reactions by users on any social network.

In this case, Twitter is a suitable case study. The tweets related to a specified hashtags are scanned. The tweets are passed through the IBM Watson for analysis.
The feedback is then run through a Smart Contract which generates the graph index, a representation of the corresponding sentiment level of the hashtag.
The information is useful in making predictive insights concerning the hashtag. Apart from related twitter hashtags, Sentigraph can analyze varied review systems, healthcare, equity markets, politics and social media.

Sentigraph can synthesize massive data, increasing AI from twitter together with blockchain and Inter Planetary File System (IPFS).
IPFS is a hypermedia protocol, like http, for transferring files from the server to a client over the internet. When a file, video or text, is first presented in the IPFS network,
a unique address called hash is generated. This becomes the reference for that particular file. IPFS is faster than http, and it is impossible to alter the hash of any file.
The fast speed is attributed to their inbuilt feature that allows one user to access a file from another user who has already accessed it from the server.

The logic of the Sentigraph is positioned in the Ethereum blockchain. A blockchain is a type of algorithm utilized in the handling of electronic cash without involving any centralized administration.
It records all financial transaction, and this information is visible to the public hence transparent. These merits make the computation of the graph indices by the Sentigraph trustworthy.
Sentigraph users can access this information openly from the Smart Contract hence there is total assurance of the whole service with no down times. Moreover,
personalized graph indices are stored in the IPFS network with their hash in the cloud.

The endorsed utility tokens for the Sentigraph platform are the EMOT tokens. They are used in the computation of graph indices, analyzing twitter hashtags and also to make calls to IBM Watson.
EMOT tokens are also utilized for the Emotional Volatility Prediction (EVP) game that allows users to predict the performance of some twitter hashtags.
Successful predictions are rewarded with EMOT tokens. Authenticated users are required to use these tokens which are made available during the Initial Token Offering events (ITO),
or they can be bought from the in-app vault. EMOTs are used for interrogation with the app. 60% of the available 1,000,000,000 (1 billion) tokens are distributed to the public through various token distribution.

From the highlighted facts, it is evident that Sentigraph is useful in many fields. From politics to medicine and psychiatry where it is used to gauge the possible outcomes of the numerous research and experiments being undertaken.
