Actually, I have no idea about Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash - what is better.

It does not have to be about which is "better". A man with a volatile personality such as Ver should surely not be heading Bitcoin though he is welcome to do what he wants with his Bitcoin Cash creation.

If memory serves me correct the main selling points for creating Bitcoin Cash were the increased block size, lower fees and faster transaction times.

On both counts it does nothing to challenge Bitcoin at all. Even with the 1mb or so block size, 'lower' fees and 'slower' transactions Bitcoin is king. Once lightening protocol kicks in Bcash will effectively become more irrelevant than it already is.

About Bcash itself, if the team behind it play their cards well it can still have a decent future with some use. As much as I am no fan of Bitcoin Cash, Ver or the team behind Bcash I have no qualms about making money from Bcash because at the end of the day it is all about making money. What I will not do is to ever give the Bitcoin and BTC mantle to any fork or derivative.

I think it's too early to talk about such comparisons. Of course the top 1, if you compared the top 1 and top 2, I think there is will not an unambiguous answer here
