Hello everybody,

raffle.io
I have recently acquired the premium domain raffle.io. I will develop a high-speed lotto game on that domain that will use tokens with a fixed price (1/1.000.000 BTC) which players can use to play the game. The tokens can be bought using various cryptocurrencies. I am looking for (an) investor(s) for this project that will be launched this month (March 2018) on raffle.io. I will use the investment to cover development- and domain costs, as well as setting up a secure and stable hosting environment.

The Game
The game is a high-speed lottery game where players can buy tickets live, during the games that lasts between 5 and 30 seconds. It will be similar to this project: https://www.litecoin.win/lottery
Players can buy tickets during the countdown. Each ticket will grant a percentage to win the jackpot, which will be awarted to the winning ticket.
Players can deposit using various cryptocurrensies, like BTC, LTC and ETH. On confirmation the deposit will be converted to raffle.io tokens that can then be used to play the game. Each token is worth 1/1.000.000 of a BTC.

The Offer
I'm looking for an investment of 2 BTC, in return for a percentage of every game played. After your investment has paid out 3 x, it will expire. raffle.io will have a house-edge of 1%. I am selling 0.5% of that edge for 2 BTC. Minimum investment is 0.1 BTC. So, for example, if you decide to invest 1 BTC in this project, you will earn 0.25% of each bet placed in the casino, untill you have earned 3 * your investment. After that your share expires. You will be paid out in tokens, that you can withdraw to various cryptocurrencie's at any time. I prefer one or two larger investors over many smaller ones. Investors will be treated as owners. If you are interested, please PM me.

If you are willing to invest 2 BTC in this project i offer you control over the domain, as a safety measure, by sending you the auth-code.

Hi there,

I do love the sites logo which is quiet catchy in my part and its good that its similar to the site with litecoin lottery. Investors potential earnings are also in good offer but i doubt and afraid you wont able to get investors with these kind of gambling game because theres isnt too much interest of the community when it comes to lottery based games. Not too being harsh but its the reality but still i hope you would able to get investors on this one.

Thanks @milewilda,

I believe if we develop a good looking game, that has a certain pace with it, a good chat system, it can be a success.

Without initial investment required for the house and money for marketing,I bet the system is going anywhere.Don't get me wrong but it's 2018 and the gambling market is saturated as fuck.To stand out,you either go for guerrilla marketing or go home. There are number of casinos with great games and fancy animations but community is just isn't ready to make a shift from the existing top names.

I agree, usually people aren't into going to new casinos nowadays and would prefer ones that are trusted and have been out there for ages. I'd say that this is probably due to the fact that there have been plenty of scams that had occurred and it is easy to lose your bitcoins as it is immutable, so the people are afraid to try something new unless someone else tried it before. This is especially applicable to investing bitcoins into any kind of project. Another fact is that you have no real background around the forum and trust would be extremely hard to obtain. That initial investment may likely take a long time before it gets filled. Since you are developing a "high-speed" lottery, escrow will likely be a problem as well.

the domain name is good, although it is not worth 10.000$
I hate to rain on your parade, but my experience tells me that raffles have a very very low chance to become popular and succeed
especially given the super low amount you are planning to invest in it
2 btc is literally nothing nowadays to get a site going, unless you have a revolutionary idea or
some talented designers and backend programmers to make the site competetive
if you look down the list of this section, there are at least five different start up raffles or lotteries
all of them are struggling ,hell even the oldest and the most popular one-Yabtcl is not doing too well
(I'm judging by the amount of the rolls and the sums wagered on their ticker)
tl:dr you got to have a good business plan,a roadmap and backend dev skills to find an investor
if you do fins one,go for more than 2 btc,it is nothing
spend money on promotion,0.05-0.1 btc invested into marketing ,promotions and giveaways will build your initial client's base and
you may get a chance to make your lottery popular
good luck

You should and don't let people put your project down. I did not state what I said here to stop you or discourage you. What I wanted you to do is to first create the site and just have some sort of investment option. Because right now, without anything to show but just a unique domain name then there is little chance you will get the investment you need. It would be better if you could show us a working site already. If you would follow bustadice, they made the site first and showed it is a good concept and trust can be had then the investments kept flowing.

And you created an account just to make this thread?
It seems like you've used bitcointalk earlier.
Do you have an original account on these forums?

Yeah come up here with your original old account, hope its not red  Grin

2BTC is not much these days and it might not be enough for you to run advertising campaigns and other promotions to have players on early days. Also the lottery model you are talking about is not actually a lottery. Its a copy of busta game and I think you have one unlicensed version which you gonna use here.   Roll Eyes

2B is not much when it comes to the casinos bankroll.

However 2B is very high when it's only for for domain hosting and development costs.

The biggest issue with this idea is that it has been tried and tested in the past and failed unfortunately.

Basically with a low edge dice available there is absolutely no point in doing a lottery.

Most will simply play with a corresponding win percentage and it can be like a regular lottery.

2 BTC is just about $13,500 right now and previously when I started on the forum and want to create my own gambling site (just in my head and did research without any sort of action to it), I estimated before that you need at least $20,000 to have someone create a good gambling script and site. Not sure if it is still applicable today, but that is what I found out before. This is also not including the initial bankroll of the site, and based from my old research again, you will need at least 10 BTC to operate a site with a decent max winning. I believe usually gambling site will offer as much as 1% of the house bank roll (taking into consideration the kelly criterion), so 1% would give a max win of 0.1 BTC.

If you can provide a solid website plan, places where you will invest the 2BTC , your future plans , if you can code it or not (basically a whole plan for your website), then you might try sending it to Edward (primedice guy), he was willing to provide up to 5btc loan for new and innovative bit coin gambling projects.

In my opinion the development costs can vary since you can outsource most of your work.

Basically if you hire someone in India to the the programming it's much cheaper than say a programmer who lives in the USA.

Hence the costs vary and they also vary depending on the amount of work required. A simple dice site should be much faster and easier to code than something such as a full on casino.

The bigger issue is of course the main bankroll. Even if you spend $20K on development costs, it means nothing when you don't have capital set aside from your casino losses.

Hence most sites these days usually take care of the development but since the bankroll is much more involved they offer users the ability to become investors for that site.

So build the site first, launch it as alpha/beta, add a faucet and see if the investor interest is there.

Either way good luck with your project.

Raffle games are not popular in Crypto Casino you will just be ended up like a dead website if you can't release some fresh ideas that can stand out against on your competitor. Look at trueflip.io lottery site, Even though they are offering a good jackpot price and nice website, They are still struggling with traffic to their site. I suggest that you must create your site an easy to access and you can try to use an automatic payment that doesn't need to create an account on the website. Directbet becomes popular because of this feature and also the draw process must be transparent. You don't need to have a fast phase game in lotto type game. The only thing you need is to make your lotto game a very surprising.

The thing about this, if it is based like the idea of the litecoin.win lottery, you do not lose your bankroll. It is deposit driven. You cannot be part of the lottery with what you dont have.  The max winning would be based on how many deposits would be made. One method of losing bank profits would be faucet, but that isnt always part of a gambling site.

OP, I wish you luck.
