Hi!
Today, The new implemented  system was all a joke, and now it's gone, certain topics has been locked up or rather let's just say that it wasn't the hot topic as of now.
And now, here we go again, waiting for some freshly made topics to discuss. Why? Of course, to increase our number of posts and also to gain activities for us to rank up (though Merits are still needed  Tongue )
DON'T LIE TO YOURSELF
We all know that after THEYMOS  posted his new system,  Many of us considered this as an opportunity to post. A lot of members that are on their bounties thinks like that.
Seriously saying, No need to be harsh mate. And to be honest I'm also one of those shits hahaha...
So, how about I will ask and hear all of your opinions regarding this situation. For the reason that we are also tired of seeing repeated threads all the time, Let's try to make new topics to be discuss.

I wasn't thinking like that.  In fact last week I made well over the maximum amount of posts that I can get paid for, and I did that because I enjoy posting here.  And I didn't find out about bitcointalk from a friend who was in a campaign, like so many people here apparently do.  I found out about them after I joined and didn't join one for months after I registered.  A lot of the garbage posters probably thought that way, because all they care about is ranking up and getting paid, so they'll jump on any topic dealing with those issues.  Not everyone, though.

What we have here is an attempt to earn merit by appearing to bash shitposters.  It's transparent.  I have OP on ignore, but I had to see what this thread was all about.

Let's try to make new topics to be discuss.

Topics like this?  Roll Eyes then I'm better off than discussing I guess.
First of all, I don't count myself as one of those you mentioned (including yourself) who find it to be a chance of increasing their post count if theymos posts something about a system or an upgrade. I don't post in such threads for that purpose at all, in fact, I don't post in them most of the times. I only post in threads where I feel I should and before I do that, I read all the replies to make sure I don't write the same thing that has been already said by someone else earlier.
And then, I don't think you are giving people something to discuss here, but as said by The Pharmacist, this thread is just an attempt from you to scrap some Merits by anyone having at least a little bit of a mutual thinking.

It seems there's now guides on Steemit and similar websites advertising the fact that you can earn by joining a signature campaign. So it's probably not even their friends but, the guides that they are searching up.

Also in relation to this topic looking for merit we are seeing this behavior from many new members. They usually post a new thread because they know they are more likely to get more views and merit that way.

I've started to put them on ignore, but my list is getting pretty large. Smiley

Ya, I saw that post too. There are many people who are aware of bitcointalk and its not just about it influence on bitcoin evolution but on how one can earn few bitcoins by wearing a signature for upcoming ICOs. Few cryptocurrencies forum do allow users to participate in signature campaign but they are not just as popular as this forum.

For me, I sort of started out late in cryptos. I knew about this forum when I was searching for the meaning of HODLing and then I saw an article that explained it with link back to Gamekyuui's post. I searched this forum and read so many posts then, I picked interest in it. Though, I didn't open an account immediately but later did months later. And I must say, that some posts here have really increased my knowledge in digital coins.

To explain it well, this isn't what I've been wanting. Earn Merit for myself? Oh come on, I'm not one of those guys mate who keeps on whining and begging all around here for Merits. And I'm just being honest here though, then if you can't understand me then its totally fine, people like you, as I think doesn't know the struggle of getting money. That's why you can just say that. There a lot of people here  who only sees this forum as another way of making money (its the truth mate) even though we know that it is a wrong perception.
And yes, I'm one of those shits who has a problem on posting but I usually don't like bumping or answering on the repeated threads.
Not all of us can think  like the way you do mate Smiley just try to accept that fact. And now if you have me put on IGNORE then its your choice. This is just a little truth. Smiley
But if I get a NEGATIVE TRUST (I know you're already on DT)just because of this post then I think the TRUST SYSTEM is totally abused.

IF THIS SHIT CAN'T BE ACCEPTED THEN JUST DELETE IT.

Yeah, you are right at this point.
New new rank requirements gave shit-posters good chance to increase their post count without fears to be deleted by moderators, lol.
Now, it has gone, hence I don't see any reason to discuss about that. It's simply a joke, enjoyed it and let it gone.

No need to create a topic to discuss about it. It is likely I am seriously but I see your topic like small effort to earn more merits by taking advantage of latest hot issue. I guess only compliant users will give their sMerits away to you for the topic.

@Jet Cash: What happens when you put someone on your ignore list?

~
On 1st April after seeing the new post by theymos and trying realising the new rank up requirement, I convinced myself to stay away from the forum for a while. Then yesterday after learning that it was an April fool I felt really fool LOL

By the way OP, your LITTLE TRUTH is a bit or truth for me too. I wish I was a Legendary like The Pharmacist, Welsh and others  Grin

Be happy be at peace. Looking forward to BTC at $1M

Yeah, I wish too.  If only I knew Bitcoin in the first place.
And by the way, I also send a message to Jet Cash about the IGNORE button. And here is his reply:

Hi,

It's primarily for my convenience. I don't want to give them any merit by mistake. Smiley

I hope that if it gets known that merit awarders do it, then it might help to reduce the amount of spam, but I suspect that most spammers don't care. Another benefit is that it makes it far easier for me to scan threads quickly.
