How The Newly Introduced Bitcointalk Ratings/Rankings Of April 2018 Works

Hi forum members. I woke up this morning to new rankings on Bitcointalk accounts. Anybody know how these rankings works and the criteria fro each one of them? I have tried doing a little search on the forum bit could not found any official post about the new rankings

Activity:  The numerical count of Bitcointalk approved postings on the forum

Merit:      The numerical counts of posts which were awarded a merit for by Bitcointalk forum members.(Note: Older accounts were automatically awarded merits considering their current ranking in the forum before the merit system was introduced)

Politeness: ??

fMerit: ??

Imagination: ??

Virtue: ??

Coins: ??

Karma: ??

Posts: The numerical count of posts made on the forum[/b]

I do not know of this is the right category to post this. If its not, Mod please help move it to the right category

Thanks a lot for the heads up. Only one stat which is fMerit has a formulae for calculation there. Others will just be based on speculations, I guess. Politeness counts how many times a user has used words like "Sir" "Please" etc. ... Our Filipino and Indonesian guys will be leading the pack on that one. So I can just use the interjection, "please" and "sir" before I make a demeaning comment henceforth.

I've never worried about "rankings", the original "rank" was all about just being active on the forum for quite a while and is largely meaningless.

I don't think I even noticed the "merit" stuff for a couple weeks to a month after it showed up.

If it was real the OP would have posted the requirements needed for each rank but there are none. Only a box with moving symbols

Hopefully this easy-to-understand, graphical ranking system will put to rest many users' questions and concerns once and for all.

I guess he is right after all. It was quite fun anyway, necessary to lighten up the mood of people after the whole market prize crash - never knew Bitcointalk forum to be this playful, everybody here is always mean and has eyes on the Mulla. Some people were actually caught in the middle of the fun with some saying its good Biitcointalk introduced a system in which a junior member can have better stats counts than the veterans here; and also happy about the fact that the system is no longer controlled by a few greedy legendary members here who decides people's growth in the forum now, following introduction of the new Merit system. How disappointed we all are now!
