Using the blockchain technology as the change agent, Earthmedz is focused on turning healthcare into an interconnected ecosystem, where standardization of processes, data and services propels its efficiency and a place where information is embedded in digital code stored in transparent, shared databases where they are securely protected from deletion, tampering, and revision.

THE PROBLEM & EARTHMEDZ AS SOLUTION

Provision of Healthcare in specialized medicine is fragmented all around the world. There are numerous challenges impacting on healthcare excellence globally some of which includes limited access to the right medical care due to a shortage of specialists or even a lack of medical investment in some cases, and also the fact that it is fragmented. Similarly, there is the issue of privacy and security such as confidentiality of protected health information and protecting personal data from hacking attacks, as well as fraud and abuse or rather, misuse of this information.

There is also the problem of lack of transparency among the right specialists, amongst other rising problems.

Earthmedz is focused on bringing transparency and equality to healthcare by supporting and funding projects that map world leading specialists in life-threatening and rare conditions per country, thereby empowering patients as they can find the right specialists.

We are creating a network of collaborating doctor specialists sharing knowledge and providing every patient with ease access to the right information before any health decisions are taken.

We envisaged that a decentralized healthcare ecosystem is necessary to access and execute better treatment provision and as such, while accessing the right medical knowledge is the first step in the fight, the second step is to be able to access the healthcare providers on time and in an easy and simple way.

The Earthmedz ecosystem will comprise of hospitals, healthcare centers, diagnostic labs, pharmacies, insurance organizations, research institutions, patient organizations and other relevant stakeholders that could benefit from the ecosystem.

Your main goal is to fight against life-threatening disease and give an access to medication to anyone, around the world... and you uses internet-powered blockchain for that? Wouldn't it be counterproductive?

Someone living on a zero signal spot might have all the needed fees for his treatment, but he can't access your service due to his poor geolocation.

My point, unless you can provide solutions for that case above, I don't think a blockchain-powered method is suitable for this kind of project. If you sincerely wanted to help incurable and life threatening disease, which mostly can be found on the third world countries, which mostly has a poorer technology and development, don't use something that is out of their reach.

Yes, true that the life threatening disease are hardly found on the third world country only, but the threat are bigger on that part of the world as they have less access to tech and meds that we had. Emphasize on tech, as they have less access than us, tech became less priority to them, and I think I should mention that cryptocurrency (and thus, your project) is extremely related to tech?

So, how will you solve this issue?

Simply put,  Earthmedz is providing a solution that will be beneficial to A, B, C & D.  The fact that D has little or no access doesn't render the whole solution useless. And as earlier mentioned, we are aware of D's predicament and it's being put into consideration.
