I also had issues withdrawing BTC yesterday - seems like they have different priorities for different amounts (either that or the system is purely random) as I made 2 transfers in quick succession, one took 5 minutes (the larger one) the other took 16 hours to show in blockchain...? For both I paid the "faster processing" fee.

I Withdrew a "FAIR" ammount of BTC the 6th Nov and it never went through!!! I've contacted several times MtgGox and I keep getting no other answer other than, we are having some issues with some transfers...

I didn't post before because I had no problem with waiting but it's been enough... Please advice me how to act...

I could post additional information if needed.

Withdrew 21 btc an hour ago, still not showing on block chain. Fully verified. Hope it's not going to be a 24hour affair!

After like 6-7h the btc came but blockchain.info says it is a doublespent of another transaction, and that another transaction has 0 confirmations.

My transaction as we speak has 50 confirmations so i can assume i am the lucky one that got back my coins right?

Anyway i am disappointed by mtgox, and i will avoid them till they fix this thing. Admins should post a sticky and users to post their problems for us to see when mtgox solve this thing.

thx

Do not worry guys, is just that Gox's volume is so freakin' high that they are "overwhelming" both the biggest bank in Japan and the BTC network. They are just a victim of their own success, as they stated many times is just "the traditional banking system unable to keep up with BTC's thriving economy". It seems that the Bitcoin network is unable too to keep up with Gox's huuuuuuge volume.

Oh wait. Fiat deposits are still processed steadily, I guess its only the withdrawals what "overwhelms" the poor people at the bank. And BTC deposits are processed quickly too Sad

Just FYI...

For what it's worth, I just withdrew a few BTC from Gox to my private wallet, and the transaction completed in less than three minutes.

Check both boxes.  Get 6 confirms, AND pay the .001 BTC fee.  That seems worth it to me.

Same problem here today. Previous withdrawal was instant. And the new one today delayed, nothing is appearing on the blockchain. I payed the fee.

BTC withdrawls have been taking about 48 hours lately in my and my friends' experience.  High volume I'm sure.

That is just crazy. Still nothing happening on the blockchain, and not even a support reply.
