There's always an option on this orchestrated move by Facebook, Twitter and Google and its actually a blessing to other companies who are in the business of promoting products as they can offer their services with minimum cost compared to Facebook, Twitter and Google. Forums like Bitcointalk is a good launching platform for this business. Its just a matte r of time when this 3 will realize that they lost a niche market.

Well i think we can look at it from different angles. Some of these brands are secretly researching on the crypto market and developing technologies that will take out the competition. Let us not be deceived as the world knows that cryptocurrency is here to stay

I am definitely sure that in the near future Twitter, Facebook, and Google are going to issue their own crypto coins. It will be centralized of course, but the reason will be one, free money. The reason that some of them are banning the crypto advertisements is the close relations they have with banks and monetary institutions. The day that the profit from cryptos will be more of that from banks they will change their mind about them. Just wait and see.

Interesting, it would not be bad if words such as these came a great altenative for large media to adopt the crypto as a way of excution and entertaining among the masses, the speed of transactions and payments will grow 20x compared to today's archaic platforms. In relation to banning ads the two sides lose: Crypto and Media.

Maybe it's short sighted but I don't think it will have any important or long lasting effects that will change the crypto industry when it comes to advertising.

Maybe it's short sighted but I don't think it will have any important or long lasting effects that will change the crypto industry when it comes to advertising.

Agreed, Long term it's not that effective. Bitcoin grew with nearly no marketing, the protocol of it spoke for itself. I'm sure once other projects deliver somewhere near that caliber, we will see the same effect.

To add, most projects are pure trash if they go about the advertising route (before even having a product as well). It's kind of a blessing in disguise in my opinion.

very briefly, suddenly when bitcoin and altcoin prices fall, social media directly blocks crypto ads. they think crypto is a scam, because after reaching the highest price, it suddenly falls very deep.

Yeah, on some points. Because if we're going to look in to it this will hinder the popularity of Crypto. Less people will know about BTC and it is harder for newly founded ICO to gather investors because Social Media is the best way to advertise. Pages online are the easiest way to advertise because their free. It is short sighted in some way but if they really thought that people might get scammed or misled then there is no issue about it. Maybe it would be better if posting ads about crypto is much stricter than banning it.
