I know Asic hardwares are designed for mining bitcoin, but I'm wondering if you could use Asicminer Block Erupter for mining ppcoin as well?
I think ppcoin is also based on SHA-256.

You can use the asics for any of the sha256 coins.

Yes, I mined PPCoin for a while using my Block Erupters and Blade.

I mine for PPC on D7 pool using BFL miners.
