Ok.. Here's the first basic black/white concept of the new Quark logo I will soon present. It still needs some work but I would like to get some feedback first.

As many people prefer the original, I've tried to find a balance between original and new. Please let me know what you think.

In my opinion the golden one is too golden. It looks really great, but gold referes to Bitcoin. And there should be no confusion. If qrk ever beats Bitcoin in volume, we can make it golden

Hi guys,

The other day searching Quarks info I see this contest,so here is my try.
I readed from avoid gold from logo because BTC is associated with it.One of my versions it´s made with gold,but not only gold, I think Quarks can be a mix of gold+tech+little bit of "radioactivity" and modern too.So one of my versions is based in that idea an the other has a white modern look.

Just something I put together tonight.

I used some of the logos submitted for the logo design contest (specifically I used ones by users Mjbmonetarymetals and cryptoBoomer and I used Quark forum's quarkbro's infographic). If anyone objects to my using their artwork, please let me know and I will remove it immediately.

Just going for the overall feel at this stage. Everything is changeable.

Of course, I'll replace the logos with whoever ends up winning the contest. I just wanted to get the site up.

Of course, this is NOT the official new site. Just something I did on my own that I'd like to use to support the community.

The whole fuzz about Bitcoin is its potential as currency, hence the BTC symbol has a huge importance in the investor perception.

If you create an ASCii symbol for Quarks replicating your logo, this concept is going to get a lot more popular.

2 things should be done with this competition.

1) End date should be moved closer (~Christmas time or sooner)
2) Top x places should get % of the pot. There are so many good designs already. I would do 60% for first price, 25% for second and 15% for third...
