right now it's $239 on gox and about $238 on coinbase.

How did that happen???

idk, but anyone with a coinbase account who has been wanting to withdraw USD from gox and wants to avoid the lengthy wire transfer process (which I assume is still really long??), now is the time!!

Several hours ago Coinbase was higher. I saw it as much as $5 higher than Mt Gox.

Several hours ago Coinbase was higher. I saw it as much as $5 higher than Mt Gox.

Do you know how coinbase sets its price?
No one does, except Coinbase. They used to set their price based on Bitstamp, but recently they are doing something different.

By the way, this thread probably belongs in Service Discussion or Speculation more than Economics.
