Has anyone ordered an ASIC miner from abroad to India in 2018 ? If yes, can you please share your experience.

Not a wise move to try import anything related to mining BTC to India. You may be already aware about the RBI circular telling banks to cut ties with Indian crypto exchanges. People had a real bad time trying to import miners last year even. Many of them had to send back the miners since they were not getting cleared at the airport, and most of them had a tough time getting refund from ASIC sellers like Bitmain. Bitmain even stopped shipping to India after that.

If you really need to mine, I suggest check out sites which offers mining contract BEWARE!! that there are lot of scams going on in the name of cloudmining, but i ll suggest some which proved legit over the years.

NiceHash
HashNest

ViaBTC also offers mining contracts, I am not sure if they do now.
