After the boastful announcement of TradeHill that they now accept EUR via SEPA-transfers, I gave it a try. I never used TH before but thought they're trustful. So I wired 100 € to their account in Spain. The money is credited to their account but even some days later it is not credited to my TH account. I did not receive an explanation for this delay but was said to have patience.
They now removed the option to deposit EUR from their website.
My money is in the TradeHill-hole and I have no clue if I'll ever see it again :-(

Are there any other affected users?

The same problem here, since I made the deposit on 21th July.

Have you got your money back ?

So, is there any news when SEPA transfer will be enabled again on TradeHill?

Edit: Just noticed that it is available again! Will give it a try tonight :-)

It is with a bank in Germany. I would expect 1-3 business days for the transfers.

I would not have entrusted such a large amount, especially when it comes to a new site as Tradehill ... A maximum of 10-20 EUR to test first.  Undecided

So, is there any fundamental difference in the service of B7 and TradeHill? Or is B7 just longer in the business and therefor is more trusted?
(Not trolling here, serious question! I am still not decided which service to use)

I would say that TH, after a nice start, just took a hit when their account in Spain was frozen. If you look at the figures from bitcoin chart you will notice that b7 only does about 10~20% of TH's daily volume. And TH couldn't count on SEPA transfers (contrary to b7)...

I have had this same issue, I successfully deposited money into there BOA account almost 2 weeks ago and everytime I email them they tell me they are having issues with sending out wire transfers. How does this have anything to do with me? The fact they they are having to open new accounts elsewhere doesnt really affect me giving account credit to money they already have. Tradehill successfully recieved my 300 bucks and yet they wont credit my account! Anyone still having this issue? Glad to see yours worked out Blobbie!

@Blobbie
I am in the same situation with MtGox. They claim exactly the same. While to me it looks like the money got credited to them nearly a month ago, the Mt.Gox support says they won't know about these deposits until the freeze of the account is over. Sounds a bit hilarious but at least both major exchanges tell the same story...

I'm waiting yet. If tomorrow it's still "in process" I'll ask what is happen with my withdraw.

I think it could be caused for a SEPA avalanche (I hope I'm right).

Would it change your opinion if you knew they originally copy and pasted most of their text from Tradehill?

Would be nice if there was an easier way to get BTC than wiring banks, especially when the banks are "Suspend happy".

Try SolidCoin or talk with other SolidCoin supporters here SolidCoin Forums
