There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. Header-only clients like MultiBit trust that the majority of mining power is honest for the purposes of enforcing network rules such as the 21 million BTC limit. Full clients do not trust miners in this way.

Even if this isn't real, discounts are the way to go for bitcoin!!

This proves bitcoin is on its way.  I remember not 3 years ago and people were adding on a premium if you were using bitcoin.  Sort of a "yeah I'll use it, but you're paying a little extra".  And now discounts for using it?  Awesome Smiley
