Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

А что будет после того, как биткоином в Китае заинтересуется достаточно много народа? Правительство объявит его вне закона, закроет доступ к соответствующим портам и узлам? Как биткоин вообще работает в Китае, если великий китайский фаерволл якобы не пропускает иностранные соединения?

Разве? Я почему-то думал, что Бразилия - четвёртая по крупности страна, где используют биткоины, после США, Китая и России.
