In my opinion, you should buy Dell. Core i7 or higher for more powerful configurations.

I know this is probably going to get some silent facepalms from the community but the HP Pavillion has been working out pretty well for me when I'm gaming It's not as flashy or cool as other laptops (lenovo, asus or even some gaming focused brands) but it's definitely good for the price. For me, it's a consistent 8/10 all around.

Is there a particular reason you want to go down the laptop route?

In my past experience with laptops, they are mostly overpriced and underperforming, especially when compared to a desktop.

I would personally suggest getting a lower priced laptop for day to day things and then relying on a desktop for gaming.

I agree, Acer Predator Series are the best you can buy. My pick would be also Predator 21X. It's a beast!
It's not profitable to buy it because it's too expensive but you wanted to know what's the best so that's that.
