Hello World!

We feel Btc gambling is the best thing to happen to online gambling since.. since anything really. Just think about it- low house edges, no registration, fast withdrawals, and actual verifiable fairness! Those are all major unresolved concerns in the $38bln 'real world' regulated fiat currency online gambling industry. So.. Bitcoin comunity - 1,  official gambling license committees, government regulations etc. - big fat 0.

After playing around with the most popular game out there (in terms of transactions and BTCs wagered at least) - satoshidice, we really enjoyed the resolution of all the gambling issues part of it, but couldn't really enjoy the game. In our opinion, a result of a 'die' roll in a numerical value just isn't enough to constitute a result, so for someone looking for a full experience the game just can't be that in the long run. Even if you could see the actual dice rolled, it would still probably not be very fun. More fun maybe, but not real fun. So what would be fun then? What form of gambling creates the most lively arguments, strategy discussions and conversations starting "you wouldn't believe what just happened to me" "I could've won so much in that pot" "I got sooo freaking lucky!"?

As the answer dawned on us we immediately started work on SatoshiAces. We had the first working version up and running in 3 days. We've been testing millions of hands in the past week, and are happy to say, it plays great- fast, fun and provably random and fair. After you send your bet to a poker situation of your choosing, your transaction ID along with the server seed and daily released secret seed generate your hand. You can see your hand, the community cards and the opposing hand in "Live Results" upon 1 confirmation. instantly!

Try it out now at SatoshiAces.com

We'll be happy and thankful for any questions and/or suggestions anyone might have for us.

P.S.
BTC to the MOON!

[EDIT]

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

We like your site as well, so much so that one of us showed his mother your verifiable roulette game and as a roulette fan she was immediately hooked.

Good idea!! Nice to see creative stuff showing up! I agree bitcoin gambling is still in its infancy, and more precisely the period "dice obsession" Smiley

Monero's privacy and therefore fungibility are MUCH stronger than Bitcoin's.
This makes Monero a better candidate to deserve the term "digital cash".

I second that. A fun way to get bad beaten! Haha

I think Monero (XMR) is very interesting.

We'll be happy and thankful for any questions and/or suggestions anyone might have for us.

My suggestion, specially when you are announcing a new site, is to focus on your service rather than piss on the other ones.

Let's be honest here, how can you say this is different from any of the dice sites ? I see only one difference: dice with different faces. And this comes with downsides: it is harder for the player to calculate his actual chance to win, and players not familiar with poker may not understand what they are betting on.

My other suggestion is to put the verification code (since you are providing it) in some format that allows viewing it without requiring the user to download a .zip, unzip it, and only then see it.

Looks good. Different from most of the other sites.

How do you check the results? Sent 0.05 to test things out to 1acesvLtYZJ6NNKPiEYiiuARjCfrPXoUz (tx: ae6395d67bd82f4b5ed2b412a94e4a0fbc0d897b33d8f2fb15b8bc4db5b324e0).

[EDIT: we changed the gameplay since this post. all wallets are now compatible! scroll DOWN !]

Hey xetsr, thanks for giving us a try!

You can see the results of your hand under "live results". If your bitcoin address isn't there, it could be that you used an incompatible wallet. Similar to satoshidice, we only support wallets that can receive payments from the same address that they were sent from (we highlight this in yellow in step1 in our instructions).

Since this is the first time this is mentioned in this thread we would like to be as fair as possible, so we have sent you a one-time reimbursement of your winnings (0.0930936 BTC)
(txid 30dfc8d77d4b2e25cdefa1f5b70fc49d2c1260e352093f9df64af712f9ba058b)

Also we have contacted coinbase asking them to block our addresses and we are waiting for their response.

Thanks!

Received. I'm using Bitcoin-Qt, which has worked with all the other dice sites. It did show up as a win on the live results page but when I enter my bitcoin address nothing shows up.

Like I said in the previous post, haven't had any issues with any of the other sites before. Doubt it's the wallet I'm using.

Any ideas on what it could be?

After 2hours still no possibility to check if i won - PM sent  Wink

You need to make sure you don't send from companies like coinbase as you will not be able to get your winnings. They clearly note that prior to playing hopefully you sent using another method.

I sent it via the qt-client - they already sent me my winning manually. Thanks for the fast reaction&reply acespoker!
I will keep an eye on it till it works accurate. Its a nice new Idea.
But they/you could offer some more handconstellations imho.

Hi all just wanted to update that we are still working on resolving bitcoin-qt wallet issues and in the meantime we have pulled it from our compatibility list both in the thread and on the site. We currently recommend using the blockchain.info wallet (available on ios as well). we are working fast to resolve this and appreciate your patience and understanding.. For any transaction issues until now please PM us with the transaction id and your bitcoin address and we be happy to try and resolve manually. thanks!
