Prices of ASICs on ebay are actually increasing. That's what happens when the price of btc moves up 18% in 24 hours.

You don't turn off asics once you buy them. Their profits can be measured in fiat as well as btc.

very true.
Alot of the people that bought miners after seeing the "bitcoin bubble" in the spring bought with fiat and they are measuring their profits in fiat.

Ain't gonna get any better anytime soon.

You think it will be that much?  I feel like no one is even considering mining anymore because there are no gains left to be had.  But then again if they price it decently it may prove worthy to buy.  Speaking of does anyone know when they will be ready to ship them?

I believe shipping starts Friday!! Im in the last few thousand of the order chain. Crossing my fingers it isnt too late in November.....But I still dont believe Hashfast and Cointerra will even be remotely on time. I Expect end of January before those 2 start pushing out Rigs at the minimun, I could be wrong but by their weak updates that are never time relative, odds are they will be a while.

Why is it that so many people assume that KNC will just trash their chips if no one buys the second batch?

I was thinking about this: Everyone goes on about how much richer everyone would be if they had bought bitcoin instead of miners. However if that happened, bitcoin prices would have skyrocked, people would have bought less bitcoin, and as a result not as much money would have been made.

Hindsight is great, but as we all realize changes in plan can change the result. Difficulty was never "supposed" to go up like this, so why would bitcoin prices not have gone up the same way?

Make sense?
