heavy stuff.
Can someone explain the Supreme-Court-Story?
For germany I can say: We live live in digital neolithicum. Regarding the internet our elites act out of purest stupidity. The politicians - did never build up the connections. Out of the cities we have very slow internet - made a law which enforces copyright violation when somebody posts a link to a protected text (right: a fucking link which brings travel for the publishers)
Our ex-statern telefone-company (t-online) plans to cut flatrates. Up to 2 gig, than pay more. Or something like this.
We are the onliest country in the world where youtube doesn't show video of, say, jugglers or skater, cause the video plays Gema-licensed music.
You'll never find here any open WLAN. Everybody fears, bad boy will come and hang around the house and watch child pornography, if you don't protect your WLan.
Our actual proposition is, that European Internet Provider shouldn't be allowed to use Non-european cables.
When the NSA-Affaire begun, our politicians have been chickens. When it was time to open their mouth and say something against surveillance, they did nothing. But now, when they have the chance to ruin the biggest world wunder of history, the act without thinking.
Our actual proposal is: European Internet Provider shouldn't be allowed to tranfer data through non-european cables. By by all you enthusiastic americans, buy buy you supressed chinese, buy buy you poor africans.
