They aren't even worth a steamy pile of shit.  Angry

They are almost half a year late. Angry

They didn't come with a fucking BFL mug. Angry

Time to test the greater fool theory with eBay.

I actually really like my mug.  Even though I'm not crazy about BFL.  They are kind of sexy pieces of hardware.

Sorry you didn't get the mug....

I didn't get a mug either.  Which is a bit of a disappointment since the mug would have infinitely more utility than the Jalapeno at this point.

I guess you got lucky.

Mine still are not here, and I'm way beyond the 45 day Paypal deadline.

look at the paypal refund threads. you can email the head of paypal and the accounts manager for butterflay labs. give them all the relevant info, explain they have not fulfilled promises and you have absolutely nothing inhand months after payment, and they will refund you.

BFL is dead in the watewr, delivering outdated hardware and begging for more preorders that wont deliver until february

24" PCI-E cables with 16AWG wires and stripped ends - great for server PSU mods, best prices https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=563461
No longer a wannabe - now an ASIC owner!

Whoah, so many Jalapenos now on eBay.  I remember when I received mine (since ROI+200%) there were only a couple with some jokers trying to sell them for US$4k minimum bid   Cheesy

So, to anyone who has gotten theirs recently and is actually going to just run it for the hell of it, definitely change out the fan.

I replaced what has to be the worst quality fan I have ever seen today with the Noctua NF-A9x14 and not only is it MUCH quieter (I can barely hear it now - it is really quiet), but it is running 10º C cooler, and I am now getting indicated average speeds of a little over 8Gh, doing nothing more than the fan change.  Previously I was getting max speeds of about 7.4Gh.

I got mine and the same day ordered the Noctua fan. It is running without the case and temps are between 36-38C. I haven't noticed any real speed gains but I see it spike to the occasional 9GH/s. It just sits there blinking away Smiley

If I could get some more cheap ones I wouldn't mind stacking them up but people still seem to feel they're worth way too much on Ebay so thats not going to happen

Man, half a year late, have you expected this difficulty would happen upon it's arrival from the time you ordered?

If current BTC FIAT values hold up there is still some life left to these little puppies.

I definitely didn't think that I'd be getting this thing this late.  If the eBay market was still good I'd sell it.  As it stands, I'm just going to run it for the hell of it.
