I think much better to do a hard reset first before you do anything.
Here is the guide how to hard reset your miner
- First restart your miner then wait for 2 to 3 minutes
- After powering on the miner for 3 minutes, press the reset button in your miner for 5 seconds then release
- The miner will restart it's own automatically for 5 minutes
- Then try again if the IP reporter detects the miner
Sometimes resetting could solve this issue, but if this guide won't work possible you have a bad firmware or hardware.
Could you try to replace the cable from controller board and check if your issue solve.
If your miner still under warranty better to contact the support and send it back to Bitmain.
