Like the previous poster stated mining BTC is now very expensive and your not guaranteed to make a return on what you spent on the mining equipment as the difficulty rises too fast. It is probably wiser to invest that money directly into buying BTC on an exchange and hopefully make a profit as the price rises.
If your interested in getting into mining, it would probably make more sense to look at some of the newer coins that can still be mined with a GPU or CPU. There is plenty of information about alternative crypto's on this forum, it's an interesting way to learn about crypto's and how they work as well
