Update From Head Dev Nico:

Good morning, I'll be the first to admit when I am am wrong about something it turns out I was wrong about the typo it was not the cause, we now know the actual cause was memory buffer overload. When there is a change in rewards the difficulty goes through the roof stopping the chain. We are attempting to start the chain once again now through a spork, if this spork dose not start the chain then we already know the additional code updates we will need to make so that it will start.

for MNs, run the update script, it has a bootstrap and will sync quickly.

Update:

If you updated your nodes today with the script which had the bootstrap in it (ie it synced very fast)( likely between the time of 5 and 930 gmt)  ... please run the update script again...
if you notice that your chain is 30 or 40 or 50 blocks ahead of everyone else, then rerun script on MNs, or reindex local wallet (whichever is imapcted).. you can expedite local wallet reindex by downloading the bootstrap from the 1.2.7 release page.
(if you did a full sync from zero, no need to re-run....)

Ok guys, if you're blockheight is not right or you still get orphan blocks, here's what you do:

1: download the latest wallet version (1.2.7) and unzip the QT file to your desktop

2: download the bootstrap and unzip it

3: go to %appdata% and cut/paste your entire FantasyGold folder to your desktop. DON'T delete it!

4: start up your new wallet, it will start as a fresh install. Once your wallet has started, it will try to sync or not, doesn't matter, close wallet.

5: go back to %appdata% and go into your newly crested FantasyGold folder. Delete the "chainstate" and the "blocks" folders. Replace them with the folders you got out of the bootstrap.

6: copy/paste your wallet.dat and masternode config file from your old FGC folder (now at your desktop) into the new one in %appdata%. They will replace the existent files.

7: start up your wallet and let it sync the last few blocks. You should be aligned with the chain now.

I've been away for the past week but now I'm back now so wanted to give the community a few updates. The current road map we are working on is #1 FGCArena.com, we are in the final phases and now adding the payment processes including integration with FGC. This is expected to take approximately 1 week and if all goes well we can start the open public beta. #2 Once the FGCArena.com is live we will shift focus to DraftDaily 2.0 and mobile app. # Starting today I will start working on the next update for the FGC blockchain. Updating the testing the new code will be very intensive so  I will be on and off quite a bit to focus on it. There will be a hard coded point in time when the update will be enforced.
