With the high prices these ICOs are being valued at, its great that people are losing their interest or are afraid of investing in ICOs. There cant be a better news for the crypto markets than the ICO culture dieing. Otherwise it is going to turn off many people from the crypto markets.

But still the good projects are getting good support from the investors if they have advertised enough,so still people are good at finding the scam and legit but it will be difficult for newbie investors so they also have to improve their knowledge at cryotocurrency field.So everyone good at it the scam projects alone will fade away soon not all.

I agree that ICOs need to do a lot of work to recover their reputation. But this is not the business model which is bad. There are mean people standing behind it. I have nothing against crowdfunding, but don’t want to pay for scammers’ Hawaii villas.

ICOs are having a hard time for some months now since December. Most ICOs are trading way below their sales price. I personally will not want to get involved in an ICO when after it get listed it will go down.
One of the reasons why it goes down is because of Referal bonuses.
Another is those who bought at pre-sale would make alot of money by selling therefore crashing down the price and buying more tokens again and repeating a vicious cycle

Most ico projects are indeed very risky to invest in them, as many are identified as scam. However, a good project will always get support from investors, however investors need the land to make a profit. I think the ico project will continue because good ideas always come up, and what investors should do is to be cautious and check it before investing.

the most effective way to solve this problem is the awareness of investors, they should be aware that they need more knowledge about ICO especially the knowledge to check the truth of all information provided by the ICO project such as information from companies, team, partners, and so on

Only time will tell on what the future holds for this cryptocurrency thing. If developers don't make a move to prevent scammers to victimized crypto enthusiast then crypto is doomed and it could burst.

If we want to solve this problem then what we should be looking to do is to get some regulations going in the market. If there are very strict rules for people to follow before they can put a coin out in the market then we would have less instances of scam coins. They should also have to verify their identity to the public if they are going to create a coin so that way we all know who we are dealing with

I am not sure how other community is responding to this issue but I have observed that though ICO are getting scam a lot then also people have not stopped making investment into it and thus give us the clue that things are still pretty much in the favour of ICO. I am currently working on bounty of TowerBee project and it seems to me that their ICO crowdsale is taking huge leaps since they have started it. They have already sold 17,000 worth ETH token and thus makes sense people are still into the crypto investment.

Now this is just one example but to be frank there are hundreds of different ICO like this who are still working just fine.

It's very hard and a tough task for ICOs to be successful nowadays. Gone are the days when ICOs hit softcap or even hardcap within few days or weeks. Now the reverse is the case, thanks to the bearish market and past scam icos. Legit icos will still find their way but won't be easy at all.
