There are countless such scams. What everyone should realize is there is no need for providing your private keys as the wallet itself is sufficient in providing the infos about the balances and history of you wallet.

All projects requiring a private key should not participate, just be a form of deception to exploit user information!

I wonder if there are many people who gave their private keys to these scammers. Is there any crypto currency among these users of non-literate people

Creating an awareness like this about known scams, is a truly worthy effort, thank you! As for private keys and personal info records etc., it is time people educated themselves enough before participating, in order to safeguard themselves better.

Unfortunately, usually there are not so few people who are deceived by fraudsters. It seems that it is impossible to give someone a private key from your wallet. But people do it.

There are a lot of tricks in the air every day!

Airdrop publicity ico project, you can only provide the address to get the token!

If you are asked to provide the private key of your wallet it must be a hoax.

There are alot of scams as this, you just have to be careful not to release your private keys and private information, cos phishing links are been sent also to hack your phone
lets all ensure to be careful on how we fill forms, avoid fake airdrop forms always

Well, this is the thing to avoid. Moreover, we should be more vigilant with some unreasonable recommendations, such as distributing private keys to developers or teams of an ico or airdrop

The screamers completely disengaged suggest I create a crypto police from the participants of this forum to confront bad projects and help users, especially beginners, can make a separate topic in each local branch so that all participants can report information about the scam projects and warn everyone about special attention and danger. What do you think?

When ever I see someone asking for private key I wonder too if there are people, who actually give their private data to this scammers. Did you report this channel & bot?

Did anyone else got this email from the so called 'Ethereum.org' saying that Casper is coming?  They added a form where you had to provide your eth wallet and private key.  Grin They needed it they said because the security level will change from sha256 to whatever they said.  In order to reach your walet in the future, they needed your private key.  I always wonder who is that stupid?  As a matter of fact, someone as stupid as that deserves it...They'll try just about anything.

Anyway, I gave them an eth addres with 1,4 million on it and a fake key.  I really hope they get their hopes up and try several times.  Roll Eyes

Judging by the fact that the number of fraudulent projects is growing, we can conclude that a lot of newcomers come to the market of cryptocurrency.  Only beginners do not know the basics of literacy on the Internet. Therefore, before you try to get easily millions, you need to learn the basics and subtleties of cryptocurrency

Great! I think we should all keep our eyes open for potential frauds and properly report all suspicious activities.
