I don't think that thread should be deleted at all. It is very helpful to show how you tried to scam.

In fact that thread should be stickied and marked with big fat red arrows.

No see, this is a bad idea, because if the thread is deleted then people wouldn't know about the scamming and cheating. You can see how this is obviously something no one wants.
