Didn't Bitcointalk removed the ANN of Lambo?

Yes they did. It seems the developer(s) went AWOL.... They took their site down, their original post on bitcoingarden is erased, and they deleted their twitter account, and removed their only working explorer as well.

Sorry about that. Lets try again.
https://discord.gg/E8G9C

Went on Coinexchange this morning to buy more Lambo and saw this.

LamboCoin will be delisted on the 18/05/2018 - Please withdraw all LamboCoin balances before that date. Any coins left in CoinExchange.io after that date will not be recoverable.

I don't think Lambo is on any other exchange.
Just terrible.

Just got the message that Coinexchange is delisting it on may 18th 2018.   Seems like making a block explorer is something that is required to be on most exchanges.

I liked Lambo but I was researching and using coins just like it.  The good high staking coins keep making me stakes which I sell for BTC.   High staking and low entry coins I've found are: Truckcoin, RAIN, VersionCoin, Healthyworm, Chess, 808, Compound, 1337 (ELITE), Bitradio,  BUZZ, and StackBit.   I trade in these to make sure I always have a good supply and can buy low.  Growthcoin and Bottlecaps should keep an eye on, too.

There are actually 2 places to stake this coin:

LINK:
https://stakeunited.com

&

LINK:
https://pool.stakinglab.io

New Exchange - 5 Tokens free = 5 USD
https://binex.trade

100 Tokens free every 24 hours
https://www.swiftdemand.com

50 Tokens free - Telegram
http://t.me/thekeyairdropbot

Wallet: https://www.coinpayments.net 10 USD free
Cloud mining - 50 Ghs free: https://www.cryptominingfarm.io

Sure two places to stake this coin but soon no exchange to trade it on. Thanks for the spam as well.

I just posted this there:

It's always very irresponsible when a developer does that to the community.  Shows the problems we still have to deal with in cryptocurrency at this stage.

There was coinmarkets who accepted coins for no money and even a little team.  They went down for a long time.  That's the problem with a charity listing, but even paid exchange listings can be problematic.

You can always sell the coin at Bitcointalk and maybe this site in the exchange sections....you send someone a certain amount at a certain price and they send you BTC or whatever.

Would you even know when the time will come when the risks are minimized? It is possible that the market is now at the bottom and cheaper than the price of coins will no longer be. I believe that you need to invest in stages, so you can reduce your risks to a minimum.

Imagine how many people have invested their money in this coin, if you look at coinexchange will see that the price reached 500 satoshi some time ago, it was a parody of lambo from yobit and it bewildered people.

about horror, ToBit started advertising nothing unsupported by the Lambo token, and in fact Bitcoin Liza was not in the trend for a long time, as for me the addition of such coins is fraud and this should be prosecuted

this is a very interesting proposal, I participate in trading on the stock exchange and if you buy and sell coins on time, you can multiply your funds, but you can also burn big because, as previously said, the coin has nothing to back up

you are completely right! lambo was given an artificial pamp and people began to buy it massively and the price went up, and after those who made this pampus threw off their coins the price abruptly faded, this is a common practice on yobit

I didn't get very burned, having bought in later and reselling my stakes.   It's been a fun coin to stake.  I'm not sure about the Lambo name, like if even any coin can legally use it.  I imagine some of us just enjoy staking the coin as is.  What can be done for this that anyone here would be willing to do?

Yes. The wallet and staking still work just fine. The only problem with the coin is there is nowhere to trade or sell it right now unfortunately. Quite a few big holders too. As the block explorer shows there is still 91 connections.

Although I've noticed some of the top wallets sending big amounts places, where I don't know. Perhaps there is a small exchange that has this coin listed somewhere? Doubt it... but who knows.

Personally I've stopped staking it until something happens with it, if anything does.

It says 8 active connections.  There are only two coins that stake as well as this that I know of, CompoundCoin and Stackbit,
unless you want to pay about $100 or more in coins to get going.

Here is an exchange we might get on:

Quote from: paramind22 on June 07, 2018, 04:26:49 PM
I saw you on the HBN thread.  Tranz the dev also works with Bottlecaps, which needs an exchange.  I know some others like this.

His reply:

We are a new Exchange and actor on the market. (ann thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4414899.)
We are looking for coins to list, please fill in the form https://missexchange.com/add_coin

"Mainly we will list low volume coins (Scrypt/SHA256 - RPC compatibility) that have hard time to get listed on CMC and get listed on Exchanges.
Getting listed nowadays on Exchanges is an expensive adventure, we live in an unfair market where you need to pay alot to become part of the market.
We want to change this, so we introduce our own crypto to crypto exchange (to list new coins).

MissExchange.com is founded by crypto enthusiasts that want an alternative to existing cryptoexchanges."

We can offer to buy and sell in this thread.  Feel free to make offers.

i think its so hard except there is someone from member or communities who ready to take over the coin

i wonder how many people who have or held lambo coin

It says 8 active connections.  There are only two coins that stake as well as this that I know of, CompoundCoin and Stackbit,
unless you want to pay about $100 or more in coins to get going.

Here is an exchange we might get on:

The only issue with this is the original source code, via github and everything else related to Lambo was deleted. We have absolutely nothing for this coin.

If anyone managed to save the source via github they should post it here.

Also no site, twitter or anything of the like.

We do have a block explorer with 78 connections to the wallet.. which is something. Top holder still staking as well.

http://blockexplorer.biz:3002/

Also.. Some detective work on my part. It seems Stackbit, volcano among many others are created by the same developer which I suspected from the start. He creates many high POS projects and than abandons them. From this website we can gather that he created or is in the process of creating the below coins:

Be very careful in investing in stackbit and other coins. After I found this information I sold my stack of stackbit as I do not trust the developer.

Do you have a link? His personal information was shared on the stackbit discord the other day.  We can't exactly say this is his real information though.

Im aware of that. But those are new developers who took over vulcano coin. The original dev abandoned it like he does with all his coins. You can determine which coins he makes cause they are almost always 900% POS and posted @ bitcoingarden

Oh i can POS this coin in pool (reward from solo POS +15-20%)

https://simplepospool.com/

pool fee - 3%, ok fee

in pool 39,951,248 Lambo

Why not buy some from some of us and get 900%  I would sell 10,000 for the Doge or LTC equivalent of .005 BTC.

There are about ten people staking it.  I am, and it generates big stakes.  I will sell 10,000 coins which should get a stake or more a week for a small price.  Message me if interested.

Does anyone want to revive LAMBO COIN?

There's an active explorer at:  http://blockexplorer.biz:3002/

https://www.coinexchange.io/network/peers/LAMBO

Let's get this coin back up again!

There already is a high priced Lambo coin selling at Yobit.  This coin would have to be called something else.  I think there may be legal aspects of calling a coin by a brand name.

No, different.  I think the LAMBO at Yobit is high priced, this Lambo was always low priced at 900% POS returns (like Stackbit and Vulcanon).

Id like to see something done with this coin. A fork, or perhaps even a swap or something. The way it ended left a bad taste in my mouth which is why I no longer support stackbit as it's made by the same developer. Essentially we got fucked over by the dev when this coin got deleted from CE due to the dev deleting all aspects of this coin.... also as the price dumped hardcore due to delisting I was not willing to sell for such a loss even though I was in the clear due to my stakes. None the less. A revival would be nice.

The hard thing is though I don't think anyone at all saved the source for this coin from github, and we'd need someone knowledgeable about rebuilding the source from just the wallet alone which I'm not even sure is possible... I don't know much about that aspect of crypto to determine it myself.

Considering this coin still has many people staking it... 49 as of right now according to the block explorer.. there is still people supporting the chain.

About the source code, it's probably just a standard POS wallet code with the graphical interface changed and the rate changed to 900%  It probably only takes a first year computer programmer level of skill to change it.  I don't see how rebranding it can't be done with another wallet, unless there is some other aspect of intercepting the old blockchain for a fork that is coded in the source of the old wallet.

If you download the Stackbit code, it's probably the same.

StackBIT-qt: Qt5 GUI for StackBIT
===============================

Build instructions
===================

Debian
-------

First, make sure that the required packages for Qt5 development of your
distribution are installed, for Debian and Ubuntu these are:

::

    apt-get install qt5-default qt5-qmake qtbase5-dev-tools qttools5-dev-tools \
        build-essential libboost-dev libboost-system-dev \
        libboost-filesystem-dev libboost-program-options-dev libboost-thread-dev \
        libssl-dev libdb++-dev

then execute the following:

::

    qmake
    make

Alternatively, install Qt Creator and open the `stackbit-qt.pro` file.

An executable named `stackbit-qt` will be built.

Windows
--------

Windows build instructions:

- Download the `QT Windows SDK`_ and install it. You don't need the Symbian stuff, just the desktop Qt.

- Compile openssl, boost and dbcxx.

- Open the .pro file in QT creator and build as normal (ctrl-B)

.. _`QT Windows SDK`: http://qt-project.org/downloads

Mac OS X
--------

- Download and install the `Qt Mac OS X SDK`_. It is recommended to also install Apple's Xcode with UNIX tools.

- Download and install `MacPorts`_.

- Execute the following commands in a terminal to get the dependencies:

::

   sudo port selfupdate
   sudo port install boost db48 miniupnpc

- Open the .pro file in Qt Creator and build as normal (cmd-B)

.. _`Qt Mac OS X SDK`: http://qt-project.org/downloads
.. _`MacPorts`: http://www.macports.org/install.php

Build configuration options
============================

UPNnP port forwarding
---------------------

To use UPnP for port forwarding behind a NAT router (recommended, as more connections overall allow for a faster and more stable stackbit experience), pass the following argument to qmake:

::

    qmake "USE_UPNP=1"

(in **Qt Creator**, you can find the setting for additional qmake arguments under "Projects" -> "Build Settings" -> "Build Steps", then click "Details" next to **qmake**)

This requires miniupnpc for UPnP port mapping.  It can be downloaded from
http://miniupnp.tuxfamily.org/files/.  UPnP support is not compiled in by default.

Set USE_UPNP to a different value to control this:

+------------+--------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| USE_UPNP=- | no UPnP support, miniupnpc not required;                                 |
+------------+--------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| USE_UPNP=0 | (the default) built with UPnP, support turned off by default at runtime; |
+------------+--------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| USE_UPNP=1 | build with UPnP support turned on by default at runtime.                 |
+------------+--------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Notification support for recent (k)ubuntu versions
---------------------------------------------------

To see desktop notifications on (k)ubuntu versions starting from 10.04, enable usage of the
FreeDesktop notification interface through DBUS using the following qmake option:

::

    qmake "USE_DBUS=1"

Generation of QR codes
-----------------------

libqrencode may be used to generate QRCode images for payment requests.
It can be downloaded from http://fukuchi.org/works/qrencode/index.html.en, or installed via your package manager. Pass the USE_QRCODE
flag to qmake to control this:

+--------------+--------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| USE_QRCODE=0 | (the default) No QRCode support - libarcode not required                 |
+--------------+--------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| USE_QRCODE=1 | QRCode support enabled                                                   |
+--------------+--------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Berkely DB version warning
==========================

A warning for people using the *static binary* version of StackBIT on a Linux/UNIX-ish system (tl;dr: **Berkely DB databases are not forward compatible**).

The static binary version of StackBIT is linked against libdb 5.0 (see also `this Debian issue`_).

Now the nasty thing is that databases from 5.X are not compatible with 4.X.

If the globally installed development package of Berkely DB installed on your system is 5.X, any source you
build yourself will be linked against that. The first time you run with a 5.X version the database will be upgraded,
and 4.X cannot open the new format. This means that you cannot go back to the old statically linked version without
significant hassle!

.. _`this Debian issue`: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=621425

Ubuntu 11.10 warning
====================

Ubuntu 11.10 has a package called 'qt-at-spi' installed by default.  At the time of writing, having that package
installed causes stackbit-qt to crash intermittently.  The issue has been reported as `launchpad bug 857790`_, but
isn't yet fixed.

Until the bug is fixed, you can remove the qt-at-spi package to work around the problem, though this will presumably
disable screen reader functionality for Qt apps:

::

    sudo apt-get remove qt-at-spi

.. _`launchpad bug 857790`: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/qt-at-spi/+bug/857790

We would need a new github with a new source code, a new website, a block explorer ( we have one ) possibly some social media channels. The discord is basically rekt from spammers and no admins/mods in sight.

This coin with an active discord, throw in some airdrops for newbies and we are good to go for building a small community real quick.

The most important part for this coin is getting it onto an exchange so it's actively tradable. Unfortunately exchange listings aren't free and with no one to pay for it... it's unlikely this coin can be revived. Then again.. if the github goes back up with the source, and a new website is made.. perhaps CE would re-open their old lambo markets if convinced.

What's important is that there is a community that is staking it.  That's a proof of life.  There are many sites now with listings that are free, but you need to get voted in.   Often, sites will just list for free these days, I've seen it happen a few times.  If we have an airdrop, we should make people do things to get it, and try to make the coins worth something, like say give 1000 coins for free with people knowing we are trying to beat inflation with the coin.  We need to come up with a new concept for the coin.

Crex24 is the cheapest exchange listing I could find. It's 0.1 btc. There doesn't seem to be much demand for this coin to raise that amount though through a donation. Good news is though is I've finally found the source code. I downloaded and confirmed it. The images match up in the source to the splash images that Lambo Coin has. Also the only other lambo coin is a LIZA fork. Also considering Lambo is based on Zero Coin... this is the original source. So we are getting somewhere.

If we have the code, and we have the stakers, can't we create a new block explorer since there is an active blockchain distribution?

And also does anyone have the origianl LAMBO commercial that was used to promote the 905% interest LAMBO ... it was on youtube, and actually sounded professional? It was a youtube video

I know what video you're talking about. Unfortunately I looked high and low for it and could not come across another source of it. The original URL is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O2LSyGlxcN4 and is deleted. I doubt it was uploaded elsewhere and without the original title of the video I can't pinpoint if it was uploaded at another site besides youtube or not.

The video was very well done. I honestly don't understand what thought process went through the devs mind when he scraped this coin and screwed us all over. It was traded for really good prices... there wasn't many on the market at the time either. I don't think I will ever comprehend it.

YES! I found it! I have the original LAMBO video that looks and sounds professional!!!!! I think we're making progress

Why do you want that?  Lambo is a trademark name and I don't think people can use it without their permission.

Guys, those who have already tested the coin Lambo tell whether the coin gives 905% profit or not? It seems to me that this figure is somewhat overstated.

Why the dev abandoned the ship,they leave the coin and communities without any reasons
lambo have no problem at all,.even on market,the transaction is very nice,both on buy order and sell order

Is anyone good with LINUX?  I know some programming.  Maybe the two of us could work together to make a block explorer.  You need a block explorer to get on an exchange.   We should recompile the code and rename the coin.  I have been wanting to try these wallet codes out but developers are somewhat secretive about things for some weird reason.

There are lots of people who are still staking LAMBO coin ... it would be great to bring to bring LAMBO coin back.

With the lamboname you gave the project, not many people with money will be willing to invest. Of course, I understand that this is done for laughter, but many serious investors and speculators will immediately strike you out even if there is a growth on the exchange. A solid project should have a solid name.

I'm writing a book on the value of using staking wallets, on the GrowthCoin dev team, so I can't get involved in this much.  But read the thread and see if we can developer another explorer.

You generally can't rely on Newbie accounts here, sometimes you can but you need people to be serious.

If anyone is willing to pay it this exchange will list Lambo for 10k doge coins, which is extremely cheap. They also want 10 pages worth of activity on the bitcointalk thread though. It's still possible in the future once we get this coin all fixed up. We seem to be doing good lately.

The Lambo on YoBit is not the same as LAMBO coin. LAMBO coin is the originally started in 2015 or something. The Lambo on YoBit was started, I think, in 2017. They are two different coins. We want LAMBO coin (2015) to resurface

That's the reason why they should search first if the ticker is existing or not. But nowadays, very few bother to even check if their coin ticker is already in crypto market or not. And if they have the same ticker, they can't be in the same exchange. And also, create confusion which one has better platform.

Well, I hear the community still have the files to bring LAMBO coin back in terms of github file. WE just need a block explorer, and an exchange to sell LAMBO Coin. Heck, we, in terms of our memebers, even have the LAMBO Coin videos that were posted on YouTube. These videos are professional. We just need the drive, the motivation, and the believe to bring back LAMBO COIN

Well, we might as well come out in the open about this.  Is Lambo with the Lamborghini logo legal to use?   Yobit is in Russia
and so they may be immune from Lambo trying to stop them.  Perhaps this developer of 2015 Lambo was contacted.

We need a bunch of blockchain students come in and help us rebrand it.  Or volunteers, we could give them a bounty but they should just be helpers, not holders of important keys and responsibilities.

Please, let's support each other.  Does anyone know how to use Peers.dat?  I know it's a binary file.  Perhaps if we uploaded and used it that would work.  I have a Lambo.conf file that has a ton of nodes but it's not working.

I know one way to secure an installation like we have now with Lambo is to select Detach Databases at shutdown but not near the wallet now and not sure if it has this feature.  That makes the wallet folders portable between computers, and probably easy to copy for a bootstrap.  WE must learn how to do a bootstrap of this coin.

POS rewards are only that high to reward and support early adopters.  We can always lower it later like other coins have done.  Look at Vulcano coin now.

The coin will be dead from the very beginning because such a rate causes extreme centralization.

It just depends on how well the coin is promoted.  If many people stake, there is no extreme centralization.

OK, my wallet doesn't sync.  That means someone has to offer help with making a bootstrap.  There are ways to do that, check out "making a bootstrap in google."  I was trying to make one when we had storms and my power went out.

If we can't make a bootstrap, that means there is no team.  This is apt, for the "Lambo" guys who want to drive a Lambo, and waste their money on such, can't even support the wallet when it stops syncing.

I wasn't into this coin for the Lambo image, I was into it for the original vision of mining when you could actually make a lot of money doing it.

I must have all those.  Just pasted them in again and it's still not syncing.  Bootstrap is the only way.

Someone better upload a bootstrap.  I can't believe someone didn't do that.  Maybe it will be too late soon.

Usually, bootstraps are not on github but on the main website of the coin.

Im staking LAMBO coin ... is anyone else staking LAMBO coin???

I'm not.

If you want your coins to be worth anything, I would google how to create a bootstrap.

A bootstrap is a snapshot of all the files in your Appdata Roaming Lambo directory.  It has the blockchain in it.

Have you ever used DOS or Linux?  It's something you type on the command line to create it.

I always thought there was an alternative to creating a bootstrap.  I think most wallets have something called Detach Databases at Shutdown.  That's the only way to move your wallet from one computer to another.  If you can do that, why not create a zip file so you can send those files online easily?  Of, if you have FTP, just upload them all to a website and people can download them.

It's not synching after being online about 12 hours.  Usually, there are several files in a bootstrap, so if you can, please try again.   It's saying no connections.  I have my .conf named both lambo.conf and lambo-qt.conf
