I think Beaxy (link in my signature) is an ICO with great potential. It's an exchange and exchanges are often successfull (Binance and Kucoin in top 100). Moreover, it offers many functions like stacking, referal, fiat deposit etc.... I hope that it will succeed in generating a significant volume !

Most ICO's use the ethereum platform so using the ERC-20 is tantamount to ethereum.
for altcoin with good features, this only takes from the opinion of some traders that I know. altcoin: xlm, nxt, doge.
To be sure, do not invest on one coin, and do not all in one coin.

For established coins, I'd go with NEM and NEO, for newer ones, BAT and TRON are promising. GLA and WPR seems good project wise and for running ICOs, I believe in the ones that have already completed the work for their product.

If you look from the side of development better choose altcoin which is obvious its existence or altcoin already famous like Ethereum etc. The new Altcoin usually takes time to have great feature because it's still a developmental stage.

this is a very hard question, every single altcoin had their own pupose, somes are very ambitious, big dream, some others are very specific. there so much reason for a coin becomes scam, but the main reason that it's not well-known, nobody uses it anymore.
my 3 altoins is: ARK, SLR and IOTA.

If you are new, i will suggest you to stick with btc and eth only for now, just buy them at their support price or even lower if you can catch them, they will definitely grow big with time.

For sure, if you are not that well versed in the crypto space, you should stick to the big players for a start, BTC, ETH, LTC etc. and later on add some promising new-ish infrastructure projects as well.

I have no comment when it comes to this. Everyone has their own opinion when giving comment about alts. Many alts have the potential to grow, you just have to choose the right coin to buy. Currently, I am holding 3 different alts and they are good to me. They have a great potential.

I think in the next future many altcoins will disappear from the market because they don't bring any innovation to the current market. And I also hope this, I will prefer a clean market without useless coins/tokens. For me only 15-20 coins are good at the moment. ICOs are simply fundraising to grab some money, 99% will fail.

     Obviously, not all of them will succeed and most of them will fail. That is despite the fact that even when some of the ones that failed was not intended to scam people, they had poor concepts or not well experienced developers and of course, some are just scams. Now, I have some that are in mind but I thought it wouldn't help you. So instead, I will advice you to do your own research and experience making mistakes then learn from them so that you can become better at what you do and be more sure about your investments. Because if you would keep asking questions like this before investing, you will likely suffer thousands of losses in the long run. So please, listen to this advice and don't let yourself be added to the list of people that have failed.
