So it comes to 49Port USB hub from an order of asciminer shop.

Today I got the hub connected via plug & play, was also easily recognized by Windows.
Then I got the hub with sticks fed and respected it exactly the plug when the Sticks
are displayed and installed directly in the device manager.

So far so good, test run no problem runs great, all detected drives at BFG and mines going.

Now I have the computer shut down and removed the hub from  the power supply switch off!
Started after the computer and start up the power supply is turned all the typical flash drives
Windows (7 Home Premium) plug and play sound is coming and it did.

The computer poops from each time, only hard reset goes off. I have zero idea what I could do about it.

Someone an idea or experience?

**HUB DETAILS* Hubs require a 24pin ATX power supply to run.

Check your ATX power, work only atx power with 1 rail!

I think I had the same problem you did.  Installed and everything worked great.  Rebooted the computer and it never even came up again correctly.

What I did:

1. Unplugged all BE's.

2. Unplugged Hub from PC.

3. Booted computer up and removed all Generic Hubs from device manager.

4. Plugged in bare Hub.

5. Let Win7 detect all 8 hubs, 3 or 4 usually failed to load the driver correctly so I had to remove those and then rescan for hardware changes and let it install again.  This usually takes 2 or 3 passes.

6. Plug in one BE to verify it get's detected correctly.  I use WinUSB w/CGMiner.

7. Then plug in the rest of the BE's.

Then everything is OK.  It looks like this would have to be done each time Windoze is rebooted.  Which really sucks.

Anyone have an idea what the problem with these and/or windoze is?

Don't know about Original Posters Power Supply, but mine is 30 Amps on the 5 volt.
