Okies. I need your help. I am always overwhelmed by the amount of active bounty campaigns. Whenever there is a topic about bounties, every bounty participant is shilling their own bounty program. I get it, but it doesn't make it an easier job find the right bounty.

Finding the right bounty depends on so many things:

  • How are the stakes divided and do you get enough stakes with your profile (member status, amount of followers and such)?
  • How long will it run (and is it still worth joining)?
  • Does the project have any potential?
  • Are token metrics available? Earning 1000 tokens in the end, with a max supply of 300 billion is probably wasted time...
  • Is it about a topic you are familiar with, or do you have enough knowledge about the topic?

Do you have some input?

Please do not post actual bounty programs, I am not interested in that. I am however keen to find out what to take into account when chosing a bounty program?

I'm sensing you're not keen to join bounties on basis of project strength itself (whether or not it's great or not), or whether or not you actually want to support the coin/token when it does launch. If that's the case and you only want bounties that pay, pay well, and on time. Look at this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2477796.0

Run by some of the best managers this forum knows. They only take good projects. I've also been lucky to join programs that always pay.

As a bounty hunter you would really always longing for projects which do really pay decent into its participants. On questions above you cant really able to calculate stakes in the beginning since no one would able to know on how many people would join such stuff and also considering you look out for the allocated percentage budget at the start of the bounty.Usually projects do give 1-2% on tokens sold or overall supply.Depending on them and this would really vary on your potential tokens to be earned.

You need to check the following requirements before joining a bounty

- The percentage allocated to the bounty
- The number of participants that can dilute your reward potential
- The period of the bounty is another important factor

okay this is very simple but very influential with the final result ..
let's reveal .. my personal experience when there is a good project and for a decent allocation of funds is an example of 1000 participants for every gift campaign.
consider the time period of the campaign and the existing rules.
so in my opinion for now should the managers should be able to limit each campaign participants. it aims to progress the quality of the participants who are properly working ...
ok..may be like that.

To finding out a right bounty is not easy because a lot bounty campaign is raising everyday. To avoid waste time i usually read whitepaper of project to judge the project is potential or not before participating to their bounty campaign.
I also avoid to participate bounties which run to long (i only participate bounties campaign that run less than a month).
Moreover, my opinion, the best we should participate bounties campaign which have promote manager is reputation people in this forum and promoted succeed for many bounties campaign of big project.

Some of the things that you have itemised there, as basic as it seems, a lot of bounty hunters are way not bound by that as they are more interested in when the project or coin will get listed when they will sell then move on to the next project. Another thing they are concern about is who is managing the bounty the moment its a popular username, they are going all in without looking back and they is why scam is much over there and before they discover, its already too late.

What to look out for, in addition to what you have there, is the team behind the project entirely if that can be solid chances are high that there is more to the project than time wasting.

Search for high paying campaigns and try not to be in one for half year.
When we are talking about erc20 maximum supply doesn't mean anything, all it matters is whether project will reach hard cap or not, and later will project become big and successful or not.

It is mean to say when the soft fork will be touched. There are many people invested on any ICO project whether it is legit one or not. Most of the time I find the people line this only in the market.
Bounties I usually check who is the best manager and apply on that bounty campaign.
I found those projects usually get the successful move in the market.

When I choose is it worth to join any bounty campaign I usually look at:

1. The idea (and ask myself - does the project really need blockchain technology and their own tokens?)
2. Team and advisors (check their LinkedIn profiles)
3. White Paper and Road Map
4. Softcap and hardcap
5. Token metrics and prototype (+ their actions to tokens which will not be sold)
6. Social pages and site

first of all , look for the website , a hard work developer will the good for the first impressions , and than look for the team , hope they are have a linked in profile , the third absolutely we have calculating how much for 1 stake approximately , and how long does it take for the bounty's program period. one more btw , i dont like bounty with KYC, better skip for using KYC in the bounty program.

As a bounty hunter it is most likely to have these kind of characteristics on where we do only mind on getting paid into those tokens and suddenly dump it once it is listed on exchanges that's why its common to see most ico coins dump after distribution and get listed without even minding or consider that those coins are worth to hold on or not. Bounty hunters can be classified into categories where some would be very keen on potential projects and some are just purely doing it for the sake of money.

not all popular managers in this forum always have a good bounty program that will always pay there also some bounty of them are not paid and there is also no value or price on every tokens.
I personally will see the bounty project is really useful for blockchain technology and see the dev team on the project.
