Does anybody has a solution for this?

I have some 3 rigs with 12 GTX 1070 and 2 with 9 GTX 1070 and I can mine verge with X17 algo only with max. 8 GPUs!
If I try more than 8 then the miner starts and after about 20 seconds the PC hangs and then it crashes.
I tried running 2 instances of the miner splitting the GPUs but it crashes again.
Played with the intensity settings from 12 up to 21 but it didn't help.
Tried 3 different ccminers ( tpruvot, alexis and another one) but no success.
The windows page file is set at 50 GB. Mining Zcoin with Lyra2z and ccminer at 12 GPUs works flawlessly.

On my rigs with 8 or less GPUs,no problems.

I am about to buy some more motherboards RAMs and CPUs and split the rigs...  Undecided
Every help is highly appreciated!

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

which ccminer do you use? I am running    CCMinerAlexis on windows 10 with driver 391.01. I do have the pages file set to much higher than that. 100 + 16GB system ram.

I tried tpruvot and alexis with no success.
I have 4 GB RAM and when I am mining with 8 cards it uses about 2,5 GB. The SSD I have is 128 GB, that means that the page file can be set to max. 70 - 80 GB.

How many cards do you have?

Do you think that the CPU could be a bottleneck? (I have celerons G3900 2x2,80 GHz and with 8 cards they settle at about 40-60%)
Or the RAM?

I found out what the problem is!

The bottleneck is the CPU. I don't really understand why, since the G3900 celerons were always settling at about 70% which theoretically means that there should be enough spare processing power.

But when I changed the CPU and installed a i7 6700K, not (yet ) overclocked, all the problems were gone!

Now the rig is running rock stable since 3 days with the alexis fork of ccminer, mining Verge with X17 algo at an intensity of 20, and I am getting about 9.8 Mh/s from every GTX 1070!

I hope this can help other fellows with the same problem.
