I agree that Americans and Europeans are always interested in ICOs but one can not compare these ICOs with the banking system. The system is still very immature.

I think the main reason is the low roi that the banks in those parts of the world are offered, most banks in those regions only offer 1-2% profit per annum which does not make it attractive so people are always on the look out for new and emerging markets like crypto.

On the other hand, ICOs usually pretty democratic in this aspect, comperatively. But the IPOs are regulated, so scams are less of a problem.
Also, stock markets are, and were popular in the US and in Europe. The Crypto world is similar, but it is unregulated. It is like the wild west.
So basically people invest into ICOs expecting higher returns, compared to keeping their money in the bank.

Simply because these banks can only give small rewards compare to these ICOs which they can have x10,000 or that the banks wont allow to because these greedy institutions arent going to give a fuck with our money,they just want to control the flow of the fiat on their own while cryptocurrencies cannot be controlled by few people especially the bitcoin.

Because banks cannot give people a x10000% which ICOs can that is simply the logic here,you can barely make 3% profits with the banks if you put your money into these centralized banks while you can make a lot of profits from x100% or more in just few months of waiting after you participated a successful coin offering.

I think that the interest banks are paying are very low and people are trying to find new ways to use their savings and earn profit of it.
But I don't think that a lot of people are investing in crypto.

But, i think they are the smart people and know how to manage them asset.
And i think maybe when you take it your asset in crypto you will get a profit.

Because these banks cant givey you good returns,that is why most of the people are risking their money to cryptocurrencies over these shit banks which has a lot of fees yearly,plus the amount you can get from your money isnt much compare to the amount that you can get from those ICO investments in just small amount of time.

Generally banks offer about 1-1,5% ROI.
But for example BitConnect offered 1,5 a day!!!

Return of investments every year from the banks ranges 1-1.5% average,while you can earn a lot of profits in just few weeks or months waiting after these ICOs has finally over,giving you an average 100% or more that is the main reason why ICOs are still the first choice of those people who arent good in trading because you could lose a lot in trading,while ICOs you will just need to pick good ones out of bunch of scam projects in the market that is why most of the people are choosing ICOs.

I think you should make difference between investing and saving. Most of the people who invest in crypto already have some money in their bank saving accounts.

Saving your money thru banks wont give you a decent amount of ROI and you might need to have atleast billions of dollars to be able to get a decent ROI with the banks,but if you invested to these ICOs you can have x10000% easy profits if you have picked the right ICO at the right time but to warn you most of these ICOs are scams so you need to be picky to prevent these scam projects.

Might be related to the fact that I am already getting screwed by the banks as taxpayer since the big bank bailout. They call that "universal social charge" here and well paying for financially imprudent or unresponsible behaviour by the banks. It's not comparable in my opinion. The bank system has been dedicated to the users which were making them all able to svae their amount safely and got a little interest every month. But ico can give you more than 10x if you are investing in the right project. That's why a lot of people are interested to join in the ico rather than put all of their money into the bank account.
