Their new roadmap is promising and enticing. They have enough blockchain tech. to launch a Tesla into space.

However they don't have not published a marketing roadmap. This is/was indeed one of the major shortcomings with the Waves platform.

One of the reasons for FB's success is that 1 in 5 student at university knew about it and it was hence more likely that everyone in university knew about it. Strong nodes involve small focus group that are easier to reach a critical mass. A connection of strong nodes builds a thriving network.

Branding, some changes have occured for the brand ‘BlackTurtle’. More Nodes are still required, our 1st milestone target is 20 nodes, pls could the community assist & spread the message further. BTC Gateway was added & making good progress with improving Gateway frameworks, an experimental piece of library turned out to make every gateway a lot more stable. Also note the Pywaves URL updates and improvements – thx @G1zm0nl.

– TN faucet added for Turtle Network, Show command now shows Turtle Network addresses. New algorithm implemented for TurtleNodeBot, it scans each block for transactions, this making it independent from waves datafeed.
– The faucet will improve tx in the network. Every premium holder can use this faucet, if they don’t have a tn wallet , the tx wll happen to itself, if they do have one, the tx will be send to the added TN wallet.
GatewayFramework: Making changes to show more information. Note: Secure Ledger hardware storage used for the gateways – in-progress
Mr Turtle’s Nodes: Turned down both TurtleNetwork nodes as forging nodes. The nodes stay up and running. But this means Mr Turtle won’t receive any tx fees anymore. So more tx fees for the supporters.

As you are aware a Priority 1 incident occurred on the Turtle Network recently, requiring downtime, details noted in the full Incident Report. The BlackTurtle team want to extend their gratitude to the community for the wonderful support during this time, hence TN Airdropped to TN holders. A big shout out to @hawky_WavesGo, @G1zm0nl, @alexkof & @DMeshkov for their assistance.
Node operators please update to v0.10.10, if not already done so. Our initial target of 20 Nodes is still within reach but not attained yet.

its value appears to be under-rated as it is new and just started getting on with paid marketing. while it is hard  to predict its future value it looks like a good bet.

Check their white paper for details of their crowdsale and try out their network. it should give a sense of its value.

Infact the crowd-funding is complete and all coins have been sold. You now need to buy it on the De-centralised exchange unless its part of an airdrop/bounty program.

the split is
Crowdfund Distribution: 90% Fund raising, 2% for the founder, 8% Community Appreciation funds;  

They raised a modest amount from the crowd-sourcing which I think lasted around 2 and a half months to sell out all coins.
