I'm selling my 6 card 5830 riggs for 75 btc a piece.
I already had them sold and set up in their server room, but the buyer didn't understand the power consumption or cooling so it back to the market for all of them.

My cost:
6x 5830 = 720
6x PCI-E risers = 66
1x GD70 = 145
1x Semplon 140 = 45
1x 2gb Kinston ddr2 = 15
2x Thermaltake Bronze 750watt PSU's = 180
1x custom light bulb psu load =10
1x 2gb USB Flash Drive = 5

My Total = $1186 + shipping

Ill let them go for 75BTC shipped, that's 1005USD at 13.4
72 for local pickup, Southern California.

PM if interested.

Here is my original posting.

I can put you in contact with the corporate office that bought my machines initially to prove my credibility if you are a serious buyer.

Hi,

A few questions....

What's the power draw at the wall?  Are the cards o'clocked/overvolted to get 1500 M/Hs?  Also how did you determine 1500 MH/s, what does each card get?

And lastly, how are the cards mounted?

Thanks!

PM me if you need hosting for your FPGA or ASIC miner.  Secure, air conditioned facility... will beat competitor pricing.  Over 15 years in the hosting industry.

Sounds like he assumed non-overclocked. My 5830s with stock speeds get about 243MHash/sec.

1000-1010 watts give or take a few.

The cards will give 250mhs or more headless not over-clocked and set up properly, but I ran with a display and the cards over-clocked from 800mhz to 825MHz, they got 263-266mhs each except the one with the head which got 235mhs.

I have them suspended above the motherboard with a metal rack I built.
I fit 10 rigs on one five level shelf.

They have been configured, but I am going to fire them up one last time, confirm its stable, label all the connections and input the buyers pools if they would like. Also if they have any trouble i will help them get set up in any way i am able to.

I'd rather take cash, meet in person, show it running and then show you how its plugged in exactly.

I assumed most people do not live near me though, but if you can than that would be ideal.

The servers are still at the corporation. I will probably be picking up most if not all of them on Saturday so if you want any you could either meet me there, at my home, or depending how far you are i may be able to drive them to you.

Free bump.

Great price, and I would buy one .. if I could afford it. Assuming proper overclocks and phatk kernels with 2.4/2.5 opencl, you could do over 1900mhash/sec, maybe 2ghash if you're lucky. New phatk coming out soon* which will boost performance even further (about 2+% from the looks up alu difference)

I'll keep my eyes on this thread, since 58xx's are becoming extremely hard to find retail for good prices.

TerraformProjectAlpha is a great seller. I just bought a 6x card RIG from him. He did an excellent job packing the parts up, and the parts themselves are great quality. Will definitely look to buy another RIG fromhim once I scrounge up the $ Smiley
