For those who use Abra wallet, just recently they added Stellar, Bitcoin Gold, DigiByte, Augur, Status (SNT), Stratis and 0x (ZRX).

I've been using an Abra wallet since it allows me to easily transfer my crypto and exchange it to fiat directly to my bank accounts. I personally don't use these other coins that were recently added, but do any of the other Abra wallet users use these coins? More and more cryptocurrencies are being added in Abra which allows its users to easily invest.

Props to Abra for making a move and adding these coins. Though I'd prefer if they'd add the higher marketcap coins like NEO, ADA, IOTA, XMR, those stuff. Though I'd understand why they couldn't add some of those coins are they're probably difficult to implement.

Personally though, I just use Abra for BTC<->FIAT and nothing else.

Its strange that they added an old coin like Digibyte. Is development still alive over there? I dont mean anything bad by it. Its good that old coins are still getting some attention but why DGB?

Huh. Come to think of it, I just checked their GitHub repository[1] and the last commit was 16 days ago. Eh just probably a break from the developers but I don't know. I also thought why they didn't add the bigger marketcap coins instead. But it's probably just because Digibyte is easy to implement into their system.

I've also use this exchange sometimes whenever I want to sell some small amount of Bitcoins directly to my bank account, but I still don't fully trust them even they have better exchange rate compared to coins.ph. It is surprising that they also supported numerous cryptocurrency after they added Ethereum recently, but the problem here is you cannot send any funds on those wallets, they only provide Bitcoin address where you can transfer your funds. So you still need to sell your coins for Bitcoin to be able to use this exchange. For example you have Litecoin in your other wallet or exchange, you can't send it to Abra directly because they will not provide any Litecoin address for you, what you can do is fund your Bitcoin address (abra) then you can exchange that for those coins that they added but this is also questionable because you will never know if you really bought a specific coin since there is no address and blockchain record that is being provided.

It's adding many coins to go upstairs. But the security system is not very good. But do not just add old coins and add new coins, tokens also.

Security is the to priority and if it not their then better to switch to many other better exchanges available than this. Also different exchanges have many coins listed and you can be much better sure of your coin would not be scammed.

I give this wallet a try, it is the first time I hear about this wallet. I installed it in my Iphone 7+ and it is looking great, security is like decent wallets with passphrase and pin plus the phone number.

The problem though is it doesn't support my bank, I submit a request but I doubt they will add it.

It's fine since there's still a record of your deposit in block explorer's. But hey it's obvious that they don't have a wallet for their coins except bitcoin since you have to do the same process in withdrawing so they are just IOU's.

On a side note, this could just be another strategy to force users to use their exchange hmm... Anyway, Since they are operating in the PH, I'm guessing they are regulated by their government? Or not?

A little warning about their recovery phrase/passphrase, you can't use it in any wallet other than abra. It's a 13-word that always starts at "At" Errrrr......
