TRON is pumping this week, not sure what the reason is but it is the highest gainer. If anyone put money on waves and tron 2 weeks ago you might have made up for your losses over the past year

Add a little criticism - “Tron is not capable to handle BitTorrent”, says former BitTorrent CSO

Tron has recently made its investors very happy. The token increased by almost 40% in a matter of a week, due to the Tron’s announcement of the BitTorrent token (BTT) and that every wallet that holds TRX would receive an equivalent amount of BTT.

But money aside, developers believe that Tron is not capable to handle the workload of BitTorrent. According to the Former Chief Strategy Officer of BitTorrent Inc, Simon Morris,

“It was very clear when I was [at BitTorrent] that there was no way the transaction capacity of Tron would [work]. The transactional capacity we [were] looking at was needing hundred of transactions a second just to get started. It’s simply not there. You hear all the bullshit out there, oh, this does 10,000 transactions a second. It’s all crap. We were going to melt Tron. Literally, destroy it.”

Simon Morris also added that prior to being acquired by Tron Foundation, BitTorrent itself was looking into cryptocurrencies to monetize seeding. The only difference this time is due to Justin Sun’s marketing capabilities.

“It seems they’re going in the same direction [as our plan]. But what’s very clear is that they’re going to say, ‘they’re going in the same direction, come what may, because that’s what Tron does […] It’s basically a marketing machine layered on a very thin veneer of technology.”

As i watch the coinmarketcap today and sorting out the 24hr trading volume it came to my surprise that Tron TRX coin was on the Top 3 list worth 1.544 Billion USD beating Ethereum on the 4th spot worth 1.175 Billion USD trading volume.



Justin Sun- Tron's founder and his team was exceptional with a span of less than a year they gain the top 10 spot of cryptocurency market. Do the Chinese slowly invading the crypto market ? These are the influential Chinese men in crypto world: Jihan Wu of Bitmain, Charlie Lee of litecoin and Justin Sun of Tron, are they trying to change the world of cryptocurrency ?

It is interesting how much of that 1.5 billion USD volume is real and how much is fake. Once it will start counting correctly without any manipulation and suddenly you will see that volumes are 20 times less than you currently see, it will become a shock for holders. Thus, I would not rely on those ratings and volumes on 100%.

It's a bit strange if you see such a large volume but the price actually goes down, the last time the price of Tron experienced a tremendous increase before the bittorent snapshot, after that it immediately dropped back down.
