Not sure if this is real or not, dont want to alarm anyone if its not...

There is a file called bitcoin.org-smf-users.sql.rar at ubitio.us ( http://ubitio.us/file/download/25 ), perhaps its fake I dont know...

It was found by someone on a private forum I visit, they have been looking at all the files at ubitio.us by incrementing the download ID in hopes they would find something private. Then they found this... I'm new to bitcoin so I havn't been able to purchase it.

I'm going to assume that you uploaded this file and are now trying to get us to pay 5 BTC to see that it's nothing.

Ok guys I downloaded it, not sure what I'm looking at though but seems to be allot of user names with things like "172a4f671400848cc4dbf8fa4d026b7f" which I presume is an encrypted version of a password next to it?Huh
I dont know allot about encryption and how strong it would be but does this mean all our passwords are compromised?

Actually, filesize is close to real dump =) But this lead me to think about implementing similar "thumbnail" feature for archives, but instead showing archive structure.

Should be very easy to determine if it is legitimate, but no one can have the file without paying the ransom. Scam.

BTW, I got already about 8 bitcoins from this and video uploads in another thread. So it looks like it makes sense to force uploader to pay upfront. This should avoid some scammers =) Or atleast, scammers will pay my bill for service =)

Can you please upload the file somewhere else so we can have a look at it?
