I also got to my first coin today. Now I'm trying to figure out what to do with it (and how to do that, once I figure it out).

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

Congrats,I actually got my first ~2 weeks ago when mining namecoins on a 5770.When I opened the GUI and the balance said 50 I was ecstatic to find I had found an entire block and a Bitcoin to boot.Keep it up,all for profitsssss[Teladi voice] !!!

Congrats! I am so jelly  I only have like 0.002 BTC at the moment, until I move houses and get a dedicated rig sorted out, until then I will be trying to blag some coins online! Haha |
