"This week, those requests, along with the more than 35,000 others listed on DonorsChoose.org, a crowdfunding website for school and classroom projects, were fully funded thanks to a single $29 million donation.

“A million students, overwhelmingly in low-income communities, are going to feel the impact of this gift within the next few weeks,” said Charles Best, chief executive of the nonprofit group, which he founded in 2000 while teaching history and English in a Bronx classroom.

The gift, by far the largest ever received by the charity, came after the site reached out to Ripple, a virtual currency company that has amassed wealth at an astonishing pace, and its executives."

Thoughts? Always good to see positive crypto in the news.

This is a good and amazing news coming from the crypto community. Ripple is a coin that has triggered so many interests in the minds of crypto investors and non-investors. Unlike every other coins that have followed the normal trend and rule of cryptocurrency which is decentralization, Ripple is centralized and yet, it has a rich history.
This present new information i believe will give ripple more popularity and it possibly might get another phase of pump.

Well, I guess ripple deserve that recognition from anyone who is involved to cryptocurrencies. Good project development, a good team and always gives a promising output. I hope it grows bigger in the upcoming quarters of this year.

I believe that this news can not and should not have an influence and attitude towards the XRP token. Many of us are here to earn money. But charity is a separate item, it's a private matter for everyone and it can characterize a particular person or the council of campaign leaders. But the price of the project, the product, the token, etc. is formed entirely from other parameters and criteria. Let's not forget this.

Yeah you're probably right but seeing cryptocurrency in a positive light in the news is always a fresh change. Grin Not often that happens.

Even though Ripple gets a lot of hate, it's good to see them committing to charity and actually good causes.

Good reputation overall.
