I need an affordable physical copy of How I Found Freedom in an Unfree World by Harry Browne. Unfortunately, this fantastic book is out of print -- a damn shame. I don't need it for me but for a lovely penpal in Southern Australia. It would be nice if you could ship it to there. State your bid and we can negotiate from there.
Thank you.

Nice try but, yes, I need a physical copy. The lady can only handle a computer screen for so long.

Just email it to her and she can print it. Seems like a much easier/cheaper solution that finding an out-of-print book and then messing around with shipping, etc.

For some reason, physical copies of this book are really expensive when they are available. The last one I saw for sale was $175!

I don't understand why they won't put this back in print.

Because Browne's particular "style" of Libertarianism doesn't mesh with the more current bastardization of Libertarian views, the Tea Party

I think a more rational theory is that there is not enough interest in that particular book, or at least not enough perceived interest, in order to warrant the copyright holder to reprint it.

It seems that his widow, Pamela Wolfe Browne, maintains his old website and looks after the sale of Browne-related items. Just last month she added a Harry Browne Bust Statue to the shop! You could email her at plwbrowne@harrybrowne.org and ask about reprints.

Hello Ms. Browne,
I enjoyed your husband's book in it's digital form. It really helped give some structure to my perspective. I want to share this experience with my friend but a digital copy will not suffice due to the bright and clunky nature of e-books. I want to give her a physical copy. Unfortunately it seems this book is out-of-print and used copies are sold at very high prices, due to the demand.
Have you considered reprinting this work?
Thank you,
Atlas
Hi Atlas, Thank you for your email. I'm so glad you enjoyed Harry's freedom book. Regarding reprinting the book.....I have considered it. And I had discussions last year with a publisher to do just that. But they were involved with other projects at the time, and then I got involved with a publisher who's printing a cardcover of The Secret of Selling Anything, and it ended up on the back burner. But your email, and the emails of others recently, has reminded me that it's time to get working on it again. Thanks again for writing. I appreciate you taking the time. And I hope it won't be too long before your friend will be able to purchase a more reasonably priced copy of the freedom book. Best wishes, Pamela

That's absolutely fantastic. Perhaps by the time it is printing again, a copy could be purchased with Bitcoin.

I used to have a copy, but I think maybe I gave it away. I'll have to check my shelves.
