Since this is posted in Trading Discussion OP is probably worried for his coin security on exchanges or he/she is completely missed forum board. But as we can see exchanges are the biggest targets for hackers just because they hold huge amounts of cryptocurrency, and hacking any of big exchange can make huge damage to cryptocurrency. They must constantly work on improving security and keep most of coins in cold wallets, then the users will have more confidence in them.
When I talked to one of my acquaintances regarding cryptocurrency he ask me about trading and how all of this work, but at the end he was not too happy that in any moment his money can be gone. People want insurance about these things, Mt.Gox it's something that's been so bad for crypto that its consequences are still felt today.

Are there a lot of hackers now in the crypto's world ? I mean, it a place not totally safe, because of it's quit new. Do you think hackers can change the crypto economy for their own benefit ?
That's a always a concern mate, especially since the market and all its transactions are heavily inclined with the use of the internet. Thus, we can't stay away from the fact that many shady personalities will take advantage of the how they can profit from the market, unfortunately, in the expense of other people who are working. And I would say yes that they can really chance the landscape of the market, especially if a "hack" would affect a big part of the market. I agree. Hackers are everyone's concern. These bad people trying to steal our accounts and our money. It is really our responsibility to keep our accounts safe from these hackers. We should be very careful about it to avoid being hacked because these people are everywhere. It is sure our responsibility. It is just quite unfortunate that a lot of people take security of their accounts with levity and rather than studying ways and making use of those ways to beef up their account, they nonchalantly allow those hackers to crawl in and take everything. The security measures are there for everyone, and it is important to always make use of them, and it would be utter carelessness for anyone who still at this age does not know how to keep their accounts secured.

The cryptocurrency market is the target of professional hackers because the coins are of great value. If you are not careful, your computer may be infected with the virus that has been hacked on the internet and all your investment or wallet money will be stolen. There are a lot of hackers stealing investor's assets in the cryptocurrency market so beware of your assets. it's really true and especially now that there is a lot of information that entered my ears that many investors have lost the bitcoin and other coins altcoin in large quantities. therefore we must all be careful again and always alert. Of course, many people have and many people are still losing their funds every single day as long as they take security unserious. Recently Mercatox was hacked and a lot of users actually had their funds gone, all in the name of not using extra security features provided while those who used those security features had their stuffs intact. Who are we to blame here? Of course, the users. It is expected that hackers will keep trying as that is what they have decided to use the rest of their lives to do, but staying secured and alert is the best way not to be a victim,

Hackers will always exist. The crypto money system is really a very advanced and nice system. it makes a lot of our work easier, and millions of people are investing in it. But the freedom of this crypto money attracts hackers. No system is safe, so we must always take security precautions for hackers. I want to say two important rules for security, Never use the same password twice. make you sure the password you use on each site is different. And use always 2FA.

Crypto world has big threat of Hackers,But there are now tools to secure the funds and accounts.Every field you go there will be pros and cons but we need to be optimist and find the solution to resolve the problem rather quiting. You must use 2-FA to secure the funds or use third party app which will make more strong the security and will destroy all efforts of the hackers.

Hackers exists in Crypto but they cannot change their economy. Some projects are about saving the Crypto sphere like Quantstamp and Blue Protocol. I believe that in near future we will have some security measures like we have Visa with Bank transactions. Until that do not store Your Cryptocurrency on Exchanges just when You trade and use a cold storage hardware wallet bought directly from the manufacturer.

Of course, they can. It's like some sort of bug bounties, but there is no need to write a report. They can just find a bug in a code and exploit it.

Welcome to the forum! Wondering why you are having this question with your second post here. Anyway asking is good thing if you are getting started with something. Hackers are everywhere and believe me we have seen huge threads about the people who has been victim of these people. Some said their private keys were stolen, some had their tokens stolen and they did not even know about it after they got into their wallets, or there had been big cases where the exchanger itself got hacked billions of worth tokens were stolen. So yeah they are there and they are using the crypto hacks for their own benefits. Once you start reading by you will come to various cases who got victimised with hacks. Keep all safety measures with you like storing the privates keys safely, watching out for the phishing attempts and much more. I think that the OP has a critical mind and he wants to play safe in the world of cryptocurrency! Well, it might be a big deal to all people who have tokens and coins in their wallet. Hackers are everywhere. We just bear in our mind that whatever thing we placed our coins as long as there is an internet, hackers can steal it. They don't select for time, people and value of the coin. As long as they know that they will get profits from it. Hackers who are using their intelligence to steal from other people will go to hell. They don't deserve to become happy with what they earned. They must are the heretic people in the world. I hope that they will be gone in cryptocurrency world.

Hackers are always everywhere and what we must do about it is just to be careful of our accounts. We can't do anything about hackers but we can get rid of being hacked. It is important that we are aware of it and we know the importance of security. We must entrust our accounts and private keys to entrusted person only.

' Hackers are everywhere and the crytpo currency market is not immune with it. Every place is not safe with hackers, even banks who have invested millions and millions of dollars is still vulnerable to hacking. So if you have a wallet you need to vigilant because they are everywhere. For the hackers changing the crypto economy, I think yes. Remember that Mt.Gox hacking has affected the market today. Remember they admitting selling a lot of Bitcoin because they need to. If hacking continue it will just drive the price down sooner or later.

First of all you need to realize that cryptocurrencies aren't being hacked! The exchanges are. The most essential feature of cryptocurrency is its robustness. You are its sole owner and you have all the responsibility. Nobody can steal it from you. All these huge hacks happen because the software made by private companies isn't as robust and they are totally careless about the cryptocurrency in their possession. Last year a Korean exchange was hacked and admitted they had 5 hot wallets that held a very large amount of money and all 5 were cleaned. How can you have millions of dollars on hot wallets without anyone watching them and manually confirming withdrawals? How can you have 5 hot wallets active at once? Some people are asking for trouble and you are only safe if your money is managed by you. We are not talking about exchanges here,in cryptocurrency individuals are more exposed to hacks than companies;simply because of the independence that offers cryptocurrency makes it easier for users to do mistakes that could end up by losing their coins. While with banks, there is certainly hackers (credit cards humble example) but still it's more secure in a way that you can call your bank to block yoru card, track where the stolen funds went etc..

Hackers have no effect whatsoever on the crypto economy. Hackers will only affect his personal economy, where Hackers take the rights of others and make their own profit. Therefore be careful to keep any data of your data.

Therefore be careful to keep any data of your data. Our economy has no connection with hackers as hackers will only effect the economy of their own earning, if a hacker hacks someone coin, it is really a negative tasking, but it has no effect with the price of bitcoin as the victim suffers because of his own mistake, I am sure bitcoin will be high if we will keep our bitcoin safe for not sharing our wallet private key, hacking has no effect with the price of bitcoin, we just need to be careful only.

Hackers were found around, when it comes to cryptocurrency it is little bit more than the past. This is all because of the increased demand and the value it has got over the short term. Importantly everything getting operated through internet is the biggest thing that easily attracts the hackers towards cryptocurrency.

They're more like a pest in crypto world and whether we like it or not they'll be watching us and ready to attack the system. Actually, if not because of the blockchain the whole transactions can be compromise but because of it hackers are getting a hard time to hack it. So as for this moment hackers can't do anything about the system as they can just go hack unsecured wallet and exchanges.

No, hackers are not only active in the crypto world but they are everywhere on the internet and since exchanges and other websites related with the crypto are hosted on the internet, there is a risk of hackers. However, when it comes to blockchain technology, hackers can do nothing to it as far as they are not gaining 51% of the hashing power and that is almost impossible for the major cryptocurrencies having a large user base. I don't think that hackers can affect the crypto industry in the long term but in the case of major exchange hacks, it creates short-term turbulence in the market.

And it's a good idea to not stick to a single trading platform to spread your funds. Also try not to make it a habit to treat your exchange wallet as a personal one because exchanges really are prone to hackers. Better to be safe than sorry
